Titles in Super Sentai just don't appear for a reason so I just thought of writing on Super Sentai seasons I thought had meaningful titles. Of course, there will be other Toku critics who know better so I welcome them to write their comments here.
Himitsu Sentai Goranger (Hiding Taskforce Fiveranger)- The Gorangers basically operated in secret under the disguise of a restaurant. Plus they were five of them.
Kagaku Sentai Dynaman (Science Taskforce Dynaman)- This show literally has the explosive dynamite concept and their DYNAMIC sciences. Pun intended if you ask me.
Chodenshi Bioman (Super Electron Bioman)- Apparently this one had some meaning as this was about the Planet Bio sending their most powerful weapon to protect life on Earth. Also it was man vs. machine.
Chosinsei Flashman (Supernova Flashman)- I guess it's all pun with all the flashy designs, moves and oh yeah they were raised at the Flash system. Things do get flashy. XD
Chojuu Sentai Liveman (Super Beast Squadron Liveman)- The Livemen are a squadron with animal motifs for the first time integrated into mecha and to protect all LIVING things hence Liveman. Thanks to Fantasy Leader for this information.
Kosoku Sentai Turboranger (High Speed Taskforce Turboranger)- Even if they were a group of high school students, the car motif may have gotten its name Turbo.
This is reguarding to Liveman. Another reason why the team is called Liveman is everybody in Science Academia is murdered by Volt and Ryusuke, Jyoand Megumi are the only ones "aLive".
