Kiramager 37: Kiramager's Christmas Special Rap Battle

This Christmas we get a rap battle. Granted, the writer is Ayumi Shino so I guess Naruhisa Arakawa is on break mode once again. I'm still thinking of the luxury that Arakawa got that Yasuko Kobayashi didn't get during ToQGer. Anyway, let's proceed with this rap episode.

Garza is looking for Carantula. Meanwhile, Yodonna mentions some evil plan to do something similar yet different from Shinkenger. Who can remember the insulting monster in Shinkenger that spoke the brutal truth? In this case, it's a dangerous rap that gets the evil of human hearts to be utterly tactless.

So, it turns out that there's also another holiday called Crystas in Crystalia. Granted, it's another planet so they get another version of Christmas. 

The recent rap battle had made brooding people out of the Kiramagers. It turns out four out of five of the primary team are affected by Carantula's rap. 

Even worse, Takamichi is the NEXT ONE to get hit by Carantula's dangerous rap. This puts poor Juuru at odds with his team.

What's discovered next is that their hearts are affected by some kind of dark magic. How can this be relieved? It really shows how bad to worse the situation could get.

 

Yodonna invites Juuru to a rap battle. Kiramei Red has a hard time defeating Carantula's raps and Yodonna raps too. Have to admit Yodonna showing off her legs can be a distraction. It took the Mashin Fire in crystal form to help Kiramei Red's imagination. Kiramei Redmanages to rap and set free the DJ under Yodonna's control.

In turn, the Kiramagers get to be freed from the darkness too. But it's not yet over as Carantula gets his Turntable Gomoryu. 

The Kiramagers do an all-out battle against Turntable Gomoryu. It almost reminds me of the Christmas battle in ToQGer where they went out head-on with four combinations. However, the ToQGer Christmas battle was more plot-moving than this one. The ToQGer Christmas battle is finally putting the pieces of the plot together. Not here though - it feels like another generic Christmas episode but still fun to watch.

Juuru enjoys the sunset after the long battle getting ready for Christmas Eve or should we say Crystas Eve. 

Next week, Yodonna has a new plan which splits Sena into five different people. I wonder what evil plan Yodonna has next. I guess the reason why we're not having a break in between Christmas and New Year is to make up for the Legacy Virus incident.
