I think this is one VERY bizarre episode. I wonder what writer Minato Takano or what the producers had in their minds. This episode is Rita-focused and it reveals the sweeter side of actress Yuzuki Hirakawa. This episode features Gokkan's liberation while both Gorma and Minongan are involved. I wonder what Racules' actor Masato Yano has been doing for now? I bet the actor's probably discussing ideas with everyone BTS. I may prefer KDrama over JDrama but I prefer JPop over KPop. I like JPop vibes in this episode. The opening has a sillier side of Rita wearing a mask. What's going on? The episode almost reminds me of Ucchu Sentai Kyuranger episode 35  but reimagined.  Gorma does what he does best - MIND-SWAPPING. Criminals and law enforcers have been mind-swapped leading to chaos around Chikyu. I really love the idea since that's one brilliant villain plan. However, Gorma failed to destroy the bodies of the law enforcers presumably due to stricter censorship ever sinc...

This week's episode begins another recovery from the really depressing episode 36 . Some dark secrets start to show up ever since Grodie showed up . This week's episode brings a movie character named Iroki. Yes, Iroki, who's acted by Akiko Hinagata (who should be 48 by now) - the real-life wife of Kousei Amano. I think this is one of the best dramatic episodes ever that a 30+-year-old adult can enjoy and not feel like a child at all! The beginning starts with an arson scene. What in the world is going on? Rita and Kaguragi both talk about it. The rice warehouse is burned for some reason. The food basket of Chikyu has been tainted with death. Iroki, the previous queen, is back from the realm of the dead! Oh boy, the stories of the wicked queen are about to pop out! This scene kinda made me laugh. Sure, I've eaten some kinds of edible flowers in my salad or drank Indian rose yogurt. Flowers with wasabi? Behind the humor is the dark reality that Chikyu's food basket is...

Super Sentai isn't any different from any superhero show product placement. Product placements help give the show the budget it needs to go higher. Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger has an unusually huge budget like it's some anniversary season - when it isn't! I wasn't surprised when the mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe finally went to Ishabana. Sure, we've had a lot of product placements such as the use of Suzuki and Mazda cars in the older Super Sentai series. We've had a lot of product placements left and right but this is the first time Toys R Us' made a very blatant product placement. If I'm not wrong, it also never got involved in any of the other franchises Toei has - not even the American Power Rangers and Toys R Us is an AMERICAN toy company that did something as blatant as this. Toys R Us was key to the success of the Bandai-Toei-Saban Alliance back in the 1990s. It would be proper to watch the Power Rangers episode of the Netflix show The Toys That Made Us...

After a rather depressing episode - it's time for a light episode. The quest to liberate the kingdoms from the control of the Galactainsects is here. How does this episode fare? I guess it's playing with fanboy fantasies. This episode has some interesting backstories. It's also an episode that teaches us, "If it's too good to be true, don't take it." A shocking announcement suddenly hits. Himeno wants to get married ASAP? Personally, I was laughing at the huge crowd (hence the cover picture) because it's just funny. Fat Boy even falls for the announcement. Just then a handsome guy enters the field.  Himeno makes an announcement that the rulers should be worthy competitors. We have Rita who's also included as a candidate for Himeno's husband. Rita's situation may be similar to Sheik (who's an alter ego of Zelda) from The Legend of Zelda . It's very easy to mistake Rita for a man based on how she dresses. I was reminded of that plot ...
