Well, it's time for a new Kiramager episode. I can't blame Toei for deciding to launch Kiramei Silver in the 12th episode. The Legacy Virus did hit hard after all, right? Anyway, it's time to launch a review here. Sorry if I've had a quality decline of episodes reviews here because I'm caught up by other new stuff on Netflix and other related platforms. The beginning of the episode has Sayo meets a mysterious young man in silver. Well, spoilers, he's obviously Takamichi Crystalia or Kiramei Silver. Sayo goes on a mountain trip but fails to bring her henshin device. This creates a dilemma that she can't be found. Fortunately, she's found by the hero in debut here. Garza and Carantula both prepare a new plan. Garza senses something he doesn't want to feel. Carantula has a plan to destabilize Carat. CARAT does have one of its facilities. Well, I guess Super Sentai in spite of being Japanese can't get rid of American pop culture references, huh? I was thinking where Tokosou Exceedraft and Mirai Sentai Timeranger got into a time loop situation . Exceedraft's version came BEFORE the Groundhog Day movie and was most likely dedicated to a Star Trek episode. I just can't help but throw a reference towards the said movie.  Coincidence? Newbie writer Tete Inoue (who also wrote two episodes for Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger ) has written this episode. Yup, it's been some time since the Legacy Virus left the show paralyzed. The episode begins with Tametomo and a rival of his at the E-Sports competition. TBH, what's with Tekken and it appearing in Super Sentai? Last time I remembered Tekken was featured was in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger where Chiaki is a fan of Tekken 6 . Just thinking about Power Rangers Beast Morphers as of late has reminded me of two things good and bad about Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters . I'm a fan of Go-Busters and I'm a fan of its crossover with Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger . It was a nice way to acknowledge what could be another transition to another era of Super Sentai after Gokaiger ended. Then, after Go-Busters... well another season that I don't have a very positive view about namely Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger . I decided to watch Kyoryuger at its own pace and Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger still has better storytelling IMHO. I still feel that while Ucchu Sentai Kyuranger does have the Kyoryuger vibes in it (that is, with Lucky) - I think it's NOWHERE near as annoying as Daigo Kiryu hogging everything. I mean, did Don Armage get defeated by Lucky alone in the finale, or did everyone jump in? Also, there are no crazy chimes in Kyuranger. Gavan has to be one of the most nostalgic characters ever, right? Before Gavan, its lead actor Kenji Ohba was in Battle Fever J and Denzi Sentai Denziman as two different characters. Toei wanted to milk on him and Ucchu Keiji Gavan became the first Metal Hero series. Like Hiroshi Miyauchi, Kenji Ohba is a guy who has a lot of character roles and gets welcomed to do a senior role in the later years. You may also remember his guest appearance in Hurricanger as a human disguise for Shurikenger and as Dan (Jan's father) in Gekiranger. Due to the Beast Morphers' decision (or rather Hasbro's decision) to have their version of the Gavan crossover (and it's aired somewhere else, not that stupid network that houses it) - I decided to do a nostalgic trip back for Gavan meeting Super Sentai. Okay, this could be a very controversial post which will contain A LOT of my PERSONAL VIEWS. This would be something I would have some courage to compose or admit that I was already starting to feel negative about Super Sentai since 2001. If you disagree with me then go ahead. I'm just sharing my views and remember this has shifted way too many times. I was on a break from Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. Kamen Rider was still shown in the Philippines (via bad dubbing) but I wasn't keen on it either. The early 2000s was a turning point for me as there was more new school stuff that caught my attention. I caught the Taiwanovela and Koreanovela fever for some time. I was getting into Chinese entertainment where it'd be from China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan (the place that gave the craze to Filipino audiences). However, that break wasn't exactly a break. Well, Super Hero Time is still under hiatus, right? I remembered ranting on how Super Hero Time had its hiatus since the Legacy Virus hit . Then  I realized that Power Rangers Beast Morphers just entered its hiatus after a VITAL PLOT POINT . How many times did it happen? Season 1 had a summer hiatus, the first season ended with a thriller and went on hiatus, Season 2 came and then went on ANOTHER SUMMER HIATUS AGAIN. Yup, you got that right, Beast Morphers is definitely on another hiatus AGAIN when there are already filmed episodes . Nickelodeon's poor decision making is costing it dearly. I don't blame Butch Hartman for actually leaving the network. It already showed signs of decline after the Spongebob Squarepants movie and 2011 was just the start. It just worsened.
