Okay this is something but I think we'll talk about how the Super Sentai monitoring system takes place. We do get some glimpses of some instances. It's a question to me to, "How are battles being monitored?" Unlike MMPR where Zordon seemed like deity (and Barza was more human), the Super Sentai series limits the powers of the heroes even killing some characters to make a point. If you've seen So Close, I guess that's their technology. Well I'd like to display some of the most significant ones to which series started that trend. The earlier Super Sentai groups simply relied on the news. I mean how frustrating is that? Gorangers had to keep making reports per battle. In Goggle V, there seems to be a radiowave transmitter in their suits which allowed the secret base to monitor them. It's already past September 3, 2009 and I'm not much of a Power Rangers fan but I feel like it's time to remember Thuy Trang even if MMPR was loosely based on Zyuranger and her counterpart in Japan is surprisingly male (remember the flat chest scenario?). She was the one who did most of her stunts in Power Rangers. She was enlisted because of her fighting ability. She was a reminder to me of the original Yellow 4 namely Mika Koizumi (acted by Yuki Yajima who is presumably still living). How? Both characters are gutsy female types who are hesitant to fight at first but are skilled martial artists. Both of them showed rather impressive fight scenes whenever they could. Also I can't help but remember the Bioman episode "Farewell Yellow" whenever she comes to mind. After all, it was farewell yellow to her but she died in a random car accident that claimed her life. Super Sentai frequently had more mature adults than teenagers who fight to protect the world from evil forces. They are unlikely heroes. So far there have been teenage rangers mixed with a group of adults such as: Miki Monozono was a high school student among the Goggle V team. Akira/Blue Mask was only 16 years old when he became the blue ranger of the Maskman team. At the end of the series, we don't know how old he is. Ako Hayasaka was a high schooler while the rest of the Jetmen were adults. Hmmm... pairing her up with Guy Yuki isn't right. Boi of Zyuranger is the youngest of the group. He's only 15. Mei of Zyuranger is 17 years old. Tsurihime/Ninja White was only 14 years old in Kakuranger. Despite her age, she is the acting leader of the group. Naoki Domon was the youngest Carranger but just a year before stepping to manhood. Hikaru was still 17 when he joined the Gingamen. Saya of Gingaman was also 17 when she entered the Gingaman team. Super Sentai also had some very unlikely red ranger leaders to be chosen by the Master lead their teams. They are: Takeru/Red Mask- He started off as a delinquent and is very prone to impulsive behavior. Kenta makes a more reliable leader than he is for me. His rash actions nearly caused his life and that he places Ial above his duty isn't very ideal. By the way, he isn't considered by the blog visitors to be the hotter Takeru over Shinken Red. Riki Honoo/Red Turbo- He is the one person in the team with the lowest grades. I mean, he is the one who gets targetted by school administration and has to be scolded by his subordinates in order to study. Kyousuke Jinnai/Red Racer- He originally started out as selfish enough to leave his own team wanting to outbest the others but came to his senses. He is also very impulsive and ended up in a difficult romance with Zonette where both were caught in the border of duty and feelings. Kenta Date/Mega Red- He like Riki Honoo hated scho...

Okay one of the biggest questions in Super Sentai is "How often do enemies attack?" Okay maybe I'll discuss some time how some enemies using science, mysticism or a combination of both to monitor the battles that goes on (I suggest some have invaded the airwaves) but how often do enemies attack? I used the picture of Majo Bandora looking at her telescope to stress this point. Theoretically saying, there is no fixed interval like some even make sneak attacks during the evening or as early as 5:00 A.M. depending on the dastardly plan. I mean some sentai enemies mention it has been some time they fought or that while Ohranger was aired in 1995, the setting is 1999. Hmmm... it gets terribly confusing.
