Silver... ah yes especially that would be the color of the sixth ranger for Gokaiger.  Now time to remember the silver rangers in Super Sentai. Yuusuke Hayakawa/Mega Silver- The first silver ranger in all of Super Sentai history.He was the first ranger to create his own suit out from the prototype Megaranger suit.  At first, it had its flaws which he later repaired.  Too bad he wasn't that involved in the final battle. Shirogane/Gao Silver- The second silver ranger.  He is thousands of years old chronologically and he seemed to pay tribute to Burai by initially appearing as a foe (while he was serving as Loki's host body).  He was a typical loner as he didn't hang out with the other rangers often.  He was hinted with Sae Taiga but no official relationship was truly established. Miu Suto- The first female silver ranger. She was accompanied by her brother, Hiruto Suto who is technically the first male gold ranger (never mind the Kingranger in Ohranger). ...

As a tribute to brides to be out there, here are the Sentai rangers that really got married to each other: For the record, the first ones are Ryu Tendo and Kaori Rokumeikan-Tendo.  Ryu Tendo lost Rie Aoi, Gai Yuuki broke up with Kaori Rokumeikan and in the end, they both ended up with each other.  Both Gai Yuuki and Rie Aoi gave their blessings to the couple. Hikaru/Magishine and Urara Ozu/Magiblue got married believing that they will have no chance to be together when the Infershia launched its final attack.  

Well there's the idea of the June bride so I thought it might feature the wedding whacking in Super Sentai and what it was supposed to be. Here they are: In Dynaman episode 13, Frog Shinka was sent by the Jashinka as a means to kidnap the brides and make them marry the awful monster.  However the plan was foiled by Rei Tachibana who got caught in the process but it was part of her plan to rescue the others.   In Turboranger episode 12, the wicked Jarmin unleashed Sigh Bouma to steal love away from the women that it eventually reached marriages.  Zulten teased Jarmin about her trying to impress her established lover Zimba even more.  Eventually the fake marriage of Riki and Haruna caught Sigh Bouma off-guard and broke her broom so they can beat her. In Jetman episode 20, the Vacuum Jigen was out there stealing the hearts of women who are about to be married as a means to cease the human race from continuing their line.  It was an episode where a c...

Here are some deaths I consider to be really graphic in the order of their appearances: Radiguet - In the final battle after his weak spot was stabbed by the Birdonic Saber, he really spat out a LOT of blood prior to his explosion. Quite a fitting end for him who spilled so much blood but it was edited out in some of the dubs for obvious reasons. Shadam - Nearly as cruel as Radiguet, after he was mugged by Ryou in a desperate battle, he vomited out mud as his clay body could no longer contain his spirit. Gorma XV simply turned down to mud, he had to vomit mud like it was blood. It was gruesome. Naoto Takizawa - He was shot by a stealthy zenitto while out of suit. That gun wound was really fatal so never underestimate lowly grunts! This scene really made a lot of sense even if it looked stupid.   Ryuuya - Well he did get what he deserved when got a real gunshot wound done by Ayase after a struggle.  He did bleed seriously after being accidentally shot ...

In Super Sentai, there's always certain gimmick to sell more toys.  Here are some I can see: I thinkt he first gimmick had to be the creation of the primary giant robots.  It went from just launch it into battle to the transforming and the combining.   Creating different assorted weaponry in Super Sentai supplies toys. The secondary robots were soon added. Eventually combining two robots into one robot was another fad. Creating cooler morphing gadgets as toys was simply one way to sell these kinds of toys. The use of team power ups was later added starting with Fiveman. The creation of various vehicles from motorcycles to buggies to jeeps or even the raptors from Abaranger. The creation of the sixth ranger and beyond.   And yup, sixth rangers had their own mecha as well giving them a more unique aspect. Eventually there was more than one combining robot for the whole team starting with Kakuranger. And the multi-gattai robots did their part too.  Som...

There were some Sentai heroines who appeared as divas.  Here they are: Ako Hayasaka/Blue Swallow- At the end of the Jetman series, she became a pop singer.   Lin/Hououranger- In episode 33, Lin became an idol singer and was supposedly fooled by Gorma until the Media Magician gained real feelings for her.  Was her character as a singer used also for Kimberly's character development? Chisato Jousaki/Mega Yellow- Aside from being a photographer, she's also a singer. Nanami Nono/Hurricane Blue- In her part-time, she was a singer.  At the end of the series, she became a famous pop star.  In Boukenger vs. Super Sentai, her career had reached greater heights. Mako Shiraishi/Shinken Pink- She appeared as a diva in the Shinkenger OVA but it was merely one of the many film scenes done by the monster.  I admit I like her voice too.

Gokaiger 15 is pretty much of a turning point episode with the arrival of a new villain named Basco.  As a privateer of the Zangyack, it's not surprising his name almost makes a reference to the historical figure of Vasco de Gama a Portugese explorer who was also a privateer.  Also, I feel like he's a villainous Han Solo as he has a beast companion that goes with him.  His laugh is pretty disturbing plus he reminds me of wicked vampires from horror movies with how he looks... partly especially with the creepy feminine look.  However I really don't like the way he dresses most of the time.  He's got a pretty weird sense of fashion compared to Captain Marvelous. He's really nasty... he has managed to steal the sixth ranger keys then... With the use of his magic horn he summons duplicates of the additional rangers... That's definitely A LOT there! He kidnaps the other four rangers and leaves Captain Marvelous alone with five ranger keys.  Their rivalry...
