Ryusoulger 19: Tyramigo's Time To Shine And A School Teacher
Well, I'm kind of glad that the subs got released earlier than expected. I was about to take some break off with the posts. Side note, I may temporarily decide to take a break from Ryusoulger (from September to November 2019) so I can focus on making Vagabond and Kamen Rider Zero-One related posts. But now, it's time to put on my fake Middle Ages Englishman cap and write on! This episode is Yukari Taki's first appearance as a Super Sentai guest star though she has been more of a freelance actress. Heck, I'd be lying I wasn't hurt. XP
Tyramigo is starting to love Japan now, is he not? I love this scene where he plays baseball and I don't know why these guys can normally just play with him. Toku logic? Superhero logic? I guess everyone gets used to unusual characters every now and then. People run off when monsters appear because they are causing carnage. Melt later arriveth and asketh Tyramigo to bring some stuff home.
This is kind of uncalled for but no heroes are perfect, right? I really hate to admit it but the heat may be that bad in Japan too -- not just in the tropical areas such as the Philippines. The whole place becometh a mess because of Koh, Asuna, and Melt. Naohisa gets so upset that he throweth the three of them out. Well, he does own the place, right?
Yukari Taki appeareth as a teacher and is the host of this episode. She is a teacher who is concerned for her students but can set too many rules. Is this summer school time in Japan? Cram school? I can't say but I do seldom get baffled at the Japanese' dedication. It can be worth admiring. Then again, I can also remember that episode in Carranger where children were deprived of their summer vacation.
Is it me or am I starting to feel sorry for Canaro? Last week's episode has him going after a woman only to find out she's married. It remindeth me of Kenta's Megaranger episode where he fell for a girl, found out she already had someone, and Chisato (who I always ship with him even when she's attracted to Kouichirou and he's not attracted to her) comforted him after that? For me though, part of me wisheth that Nao Nagasawa (due to her being a mother of two now) was the guest star instead of Yukari.
I really hate this library fight scene. The library is one of the most sacred places ever. So, this one causeth Ryusoul Gold to vanish into some weird zone. So next...
Anarchne Menasaur showeth up and causeth trouble. Both Ryusoul Black and Ryusoul Green get into the case. I wonder what are they doing when the others aren't there?
Asuna, Melt, and Koh (who are still officially OUT of the Tatsui residence) discover that a school has been ransacked. Okay, is it me or are Toku villains or superhero villains usually THAT STUPID? I think Creon broadcasting is just stupid. The show must go on, right? Announcing your plan to the public is a stupid way to go but I guess it's all about their ego, right?
Now cometh the dark detention halls. This scene makes me remember my Old Shame of detetention center jokes in my rather terrible fanfic -- except it's way more exaggerated. People here get into detention for breaking even the slightest rules -- which is not justified. We can understand if people get into the detention center for voyeurism, acts of mischief that could've endangered lives (such as playing in a chemistry lab for fun), acts of violence, answering back at the teacher BUT not for breaking simple rules. This does also become so spooky and nightmare filled -- even for a show that's supposed to be lighthearted!
Melt does get some attention even when Tyramigo is the star of the episode. They discover that Misako is the host. She's termed here as Mrs. Misako probably because Yukari got married this year. I almost want to throw some childish jokes AGAIN in here. Okay, moving forward!
I don't know if this should be a Sentai moment of badass OR a WTF moment. Tyramigo biteth the arm of Arachne Menasaur. I really laughed at how Melt and Tyramigo have to be that careful or they'd be sent to the supreme dark halls of the detention center. Sidenote, I kinda wanted to create a detention center type of plot if I were a Sentai villain!
Is it me or are there times the main cast members take their stunts too far? The ceiling is collapsing and the team is trying to save the children. Asuna useth her brute strength (okay, she can beat me now) to try and save the children. The chairs didn't look like CGI to me. Good thing Ichika Osaki didn't dislocate her shoulder. Worse, more dangerous stunts could've led to an incident like Alison MacInnis (Lightspeed Rescue) and the infamous Kamen Rider incident with Hiroshi Fujioka.
Tyramigo giveth a The Reason You Suck Speech. I really love how this scene is played out. Ryusoul Blue showeth himself as the star of this episode too. I really love how Tyramigo is that passionate to give out his feelings. He groweth giant size after this!
To enlarge Arachne Menasaur -- Creon ordereth the Druid Soldiers to litter and break rules. If you ask me, I'd probably die attempting to stop them from littering. Though, I admit, I can be such a control freak myself too -- which isn't good!
I love to see how the plan did backfire on the face of Wizeru. His laughing maniacally caused him to be hit into the detention center. It's so funny how it hit him. He did disguise himself as a child and escaped. He then bonketh Creon at the head after said incident.
Now for a bit of moral of the day and it's for adults. True, we need rules to teach children but we need to teach them why the rules exist. Is this episode trying to appeal to older fans of Super Sentai? Granted, I'm not that big a fan myself and I'm just a casual fan of Super Sentai (well but for others to call it my beloved Sentai isn't wrong either) -- I still think having a lesson of the week for adults is also a good thing. I'd guess some people in their 20s who still are big into the franchise are still enjoying it more than I'd ever do!
The Ryusoulgers do show the typical Japanese habit of cleaning your own mess. They'd make Marie Kondo proud with this one. They are practicing the 5S of Japanese cleanliness after they messed up the house so much. Hmmm... another good example for all nationalities indeed!
Next week should be another turning point. I'm just seeing previews Wizeru would finally have his last episode. I can't determine who'd be the next Big Bad. Would somebody from Druidon finally show up as the main antagonist? I do have a lot of whacked up predictions which I'm sure most of them are wrong right now!
