  Ressha Sentai ToQGer might be a show that's almost got no middle ground. Some try to defend it to be the best show ever. As an older Super Sentai fan - I'm actually more inclined to prefer most of the older series. Fortunately, there were some decent attempts to remain afloat after Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger . I'd probably still state that Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger was just plain annoying at first glance. Right now, I think Kyoryuger is actually a watchable mess  but it's rather biased. Just think how I find Kamen Rider BLACK RX and B-Fighter Kabuto to be watchable messy shows because the Saban adaptations straight out SUCK. Yeah, I really tried watching B-Fighter Metallix and it's WAY WORSE than the source material. With ToQGer  - I think the show's actually okay. Maybe, I'd say So Okay It's Average because it's almost similar to how Toshiki Inoue was with Kamen Rider Kiva  (and I enjoy that show), Hirohisa Soda with Chikyu Sentai Fiveman , and Junki T...

  There are always cultural differences between Super Sentai and Power Rangers. My dislike for Power Rangers is partly cultural. I want to launch a speculation about where  Ninja Sentai Kakuranger stands among Power Rangers fans. We've had the DVD releases starting with Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger . Kakuranger had its DVD release and it seems there's no news yet of a Mahou Sentai Magiranger DVD. I tried watching Kakuranger and I feel the series could be more of So Okay It's Average (like Seijuu Sentai Gingaman ) among Power Rangers fans. That's okay because I think most Power Rangers fans may actually enjoy anything after Mirai Sentai Timeranger .  The 1980s to 1990s Super Sentai era can be characterized by stuff that makes you, "What? They show this to children?" After watching Zyuranger , I simply started to understand more why Saban Entertainment (or Fox Kids) didn't just dub it over. Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger is really about to end. The new year is about to bring an end to something. As always, it's really DIFFICULT IF NOT EVEN IMPOSSIBLE to talk about Racules without spoilers. It would be better to WATCH THE EPISODE FIRST before reading. That way, one can offer some constructive criticism without otherwise hitting spoiler territory. Now, for what I think would be a strangely arranged episode  Everything picks up from episode 42 which is big spoiler territory . As it turns out, Racules is pretty much a Virtuous Character Copy of Captain Ryuuya from Mirai Sentai Timeranger. However, Racules' actions seem to make him a dirtier version of Captain Alex from Power Rangers Time Force . Alex did some questionable stuff and may have been plotted to be the Bigger Bad. Thankfully, that didn't happen or that would totally be out-of-place. Racules' revelations remind me of Star Wars Lucas canon (Legends) plot where Luke voluntarily became the resurrected Palpati...

There's no Super Hero Time this week. There are times I felt like a Year-End special may be necessary. Take note that it's not all the time that it happens. I wrote a compilation of Super Sentai year-end specials back on December 31, 2019 . They weren't regular episodes but some kind of strange clip show. There's been Super Sentai clip shows such as an Avatar Sentai Donbrothers episode when Kamen Rider Revice ended . I felt like looking back and wondering if Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger deserves a recap or not. There were times a clip show gave the audience a review class of sorts. The last we had it was in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger . Denji Sentai Megaranger just had a strange episode where Kenta Date accidentally lost his Digitizer. Seijuu Sentai Gingaman gave a review class where the heroes recalled their adventures. Last year was the 25th anniversary of Gingaman . Why in the world didn't Toei decide to prepare a clip show for the year-end? It would've been fun if...

Last week's episode was pretty much a surprise or not ? This episode is a Massive Spoiler so you might as well WATCH IT FIRST. Some things are just Walking Spoilers and Racules is probably the biggest one. I even feel that the actor Masato Yano has been working with the producer-writer tandem to get Racules to where he is. This episode shared the same title as the mini-series focused on Racules . Just as I predicted - there's no Christmas special this year. I guess it's a refreshing change of pace. Also, not all Super Sentai had Christmas episodes. The first one to do so was Gosei Sentai Dairanger.  There was no Christmas special for Choriki Sentai Ohranger and Seijuu Sentai Gingaman after that. Then more of them followed and it almost became a yearly tradition. I guess the people of Chikyu don't celebrate the tradition at all!  Should I be surprised that Racules pulled an Iroki ? I thought Iroki was a wicked queen but the episode revealed otherwise. Now, it's Racul...

I guess it's time for another episode. I probably have mixed feelings about how Racules was gone for 13 episodes, returns, and gets missing again. I wonder if it's a Real Life Writes Plot incident with Masato Yano? I assume that Masato has his own busy schedule resulting in him not getting what might be intended screen time. Yet, Masato still stays with the show nonetheless! This episode is a really massive spoiler. So yeah, don't read this until you see the episode. As always, some constructive criticism helps but please watch the episode first! Dugdead's revelation of having created Gira is one thing. The monarchs try to get rid of Dugdead but discover his longevity. I don't want to raise this issue but I'm already reminded of Juuku B-Fighter's Gaohm's big revelation in a way. I think not-so-many may have noticed the small alien that may be piloting a Mini-Mecha. I didn't want to raise it up. It reminds me of some tiny alien criminals in the Men in...

I hoped that the Shugoddom Arc would be more than just one episode. I guess I'm already getting acquainted with King-Ohger's more soap-operatic format now huh? It's very unusual for Super Sentai to do so since the standard formula didn't change much. This week's episode revolves around Shugoddom. Beware! This episode is so full of spoilers and possible half-truths! Watch first before you give me some constructive criticism on where I miss. Otherwise, read at your OWN PERIL! The episode's plot starts with Douga fighting some Bugnarok soldiers. The Bugnarok soldiers are under Dugdead's control. The deposed monarchs are badly injured. Gira does get into some comical idiocy. I wonder though if Ishabana could do a thing about Rita's near-constant migraines? Only Gira shows up. Gira does manage to recover for a reason.  We have a short cameo from Prince. Yes, the same Prince who's from episode 32  and episode 33 . Prince gets transported to Chikyu. Prince ...
