Daizyujin's The First Megazord To Come Out Of The Megazord Graveyard

No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger celebrates the 50th anniversary of Himitsu Sentai Goranger. Has the celebration changed to Goranger's birthday from the entry number? I'm watching Gozyuger (but no episode reviews, sorry in advance). It's already amazing enough (?) that we have a half-Pinay ranger and that Power Rangers Operation Overdrive had a Pinay ranger (but was born in Great Britain). The most recent episode ended with Daizyujin as the FIRST MEGAZORD (well, for Super Sentai) to come out of that dreadful Megazord Graveyard!

I'm A-OK with using Power Rangers terminology with discussing Super Sentai. The term Mecha is no longer overshadowed and would be more appropriate. However, the term Zord was used in Mirai Sentai Timeranger for the enemy robot known as the G-Zord. Before that, a lot of Evil Zords were created even before Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. Dora Talos from Zyuranger was a redesign of Giga Volt from Chojuu Sentai Liveman -- both Evil Zords! They would be called Evil Mecha in Super Sentai. However, I'm definitely already a-OK with Power Rangers fans calling the Evil Mecha as Evil Zords. Zord was just some gimmicky name. Later, the term was adapted into Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters -- a show that somehow references Power Rangers RPM. Those shades may also make one think of Power Rangers Jungle Fury

The Dino Megazord was still called Megazord when Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers was newly released. If I'm not wrong, the only reason why it's later referred to as Dino Megazord because it was made from the Dinozords. It's said that the word Zord was from the word sword -- and they decided to play a pun. That may explain why Tega Sword was on top of the Megazord Graveyard. Mega means large in amount or size. The Zords combine into the Megazord. Daizyujin's footage was used for the Megazord fights during the first season. Daizyujin was still used for the Zyu2 footage. The Dino Megazord is the first Megazord for Power Rangers.

Mighty Morphin's anniversary may be celebrated when a decade hits. Why do you think Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger took place in 2003 and Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger took place in 2013? It's NOT in 2002 and 2012 -- which coincide with Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger's anniversary. The same might be true when Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger was created. There are possible Easter Eggs that happen. Kyoryuger's pink ranger was named AMY Yuzuki -- probably named after AMY Jo Johnson. King-Ohger had a character named RITA Kaniska -- a character who also gets headaches (and screams) as a running gag. Even more, King-Ohger fit into Kyoryuger's continuity. I may not like Power Rangers while I acknowledge the need for localization. Yes, localization IS a form of adaptation, ACCORDING TO BUSINESS TERMINOLOGIES!

Why was Daizyujin the first to resurface from the Megazord Graveyard and NOT Battle Fever Robo? Battle Fever Robo would be the first Super Sentai Megazord. However, watching some older Super Sentai can be a challenge. There's the generation gap to think about. All I can do is speculate. Was it because Daizyujin revolutioned toy sales in Japan -- all before Mighty Morphin' hit America? Sure, Zyuranger isn't all that great BUT the show's probable kid-friendly side -- could've triggered toy sales too. Toei didn't waste the opportunity when America hit too. It's probable because without Daizyujin -- there would be no incredible toy sales and toys MAKE MONEY! THE GREEED RIGHT?!
