If you happen to be a person who grew up more with Power Rangers than Super Sentai, you might find this picture confusing. Some may have not recognized Dairanger, Liveman, Kamen Rider J, Blue SWAT, Winspector and maybe to some extent Janperson. Remembering the time me and my folks visited a now-closed down toy store - this picture still brings me memories of a poster that used to hang together with the Power Rangers toys. But like some children back then, I thought the Zyuranger toys were Mighty Morphin' toys made in Japan because I knew Bandai was from Japan and it played a big part in the toys market. I even thought that the Zyuranger NES game was just a Japanese-made game. I even thought Janperson was just a recolored Robocop instead of a Robocop-inspired hero. What's funnier I even thought, "What in the world is going on with two Tommys there?" aside from, "Who are those other Power Rangers-like heroes there?" A lot of questions filled my head concerni...

Okay this is really something that I'm writing about this one in a Super Sentai blog but I have a feeling that Japanese entertainment is pretty underrated. Why? I've remembered watching a LOT of American shows when I was younger, without knowing it was from a Japanese source until later, like for instance the Voltron saga (which was taken from Golion and Dairugger XV) to the Power Rangers series. In Asia, I would like to admit that Chinese and Korean entertainment has stormed against Japanese entertainment too. So for example, in the Philippines, Super Sentai isn't that shown as much as Chinese soap operas. Like for example, we have more people watching F4 or 5566 over Japanese shows of any kind. Also in America, Chinese celebrities are more celebrated than Japanese celebrities these days. It seems Japan is getting left behind. Also, Westerners are going to China to learn basic Mandarin and more whites regardless of gender prefer Chinese mates over Japanese mates for...

If there's anything else I'd like to write about also, is how immature children fanboys can get and children are the biggest source of fan boy quarrels! So far, here's how immature they can get: Children insist 99% of the time they're the ones who are right because they don't understand what life is. So what they like, others must also like. I remembered getting into a fight with adults as a child and later as a teenager, I kept getting into fights with children over the presence of that kind of attitude. Hmmm I guess children in Super Sentai can be blamed for the rise of evil, the return of Ragorn in Turboranger, Radiguet considering humans to be disgusting, Bandora's immense hatred for children, the birthing of Orgs in Gaoranger and the rise of Infershia. They tend to look up to something as if it doesn't have flaws. For example, children Super Sentai fans can think that there's no flaw in Super Sentai. In reality, Super Sentai had some bad writi...

Hmmm... this just crossed my mind as of recent. Types of Sentai audience: Children happen to be primary audience. When a Sentai show doesn't get popular to children that much, the next Sentai ends up being dumb down to the extent even violence and suggestiveness is lowered. This is also where most fanboy wars start. If not, there were also teenagers. There are male fans and female fans. I believe mostly male fans because of the lovely girls. :-P There are Sentai female fans too but it's kinda limited. The young adults. Well I'm one of them. For me, it's harder to outgrow Super Sentai than Power Rangers. And maybe parents. Well, they have to watch TV with their children don't they before they injure themselves. :-P And maybe it has also as of late, targeted Americans too with the same target market above. 2000s Sentai seems to appeal to Power Rangers fans more than older Super Sentai. There are a lot more little kids where that came from. Whether they be Sentai or PR fanboys, we'll never stop them. If we can all make blogs involving creating peace between the shows, we'll put an end to them soon. Yup that's true. Based on my experience as a child, I can remember how I insist something is better and a fight starts because of it. Remember a little fire can destroy an entire forest. Super Sentai fans and Power Rangers fans who were usually children fought to which is better. Children are easily carried away into useless battles (that's why I call war freaks childish) like this and with children having Internet knowledge, I guess they're a major pain. And right, most of these are surrounded by cultural biases and colonial mentality. ...
