Sean Akizuki's Super Sentai Blog

It's really something to consider when the COVID-19 which I'd like to call as the Legacy Virus had become a global pandemic. The virus came from Wuhan late 2019 and the Legacy Virus has mutated into different strains. Thinking about the COVID-19 reminds me of the deadly disease in the  X-Men  franchise. The symptoms of COVID-19 and the Legacy Virus are very similar. Both viruses are airborne agents. Both viruses cause fever, cough, and overall weakness. Recently, the COVID-19 may also cause skin lesions - something the Legacy Virus did to mutants infected by the virus. The Legacy Virus was a terrifying worldwide pandemic that was blamed on mutants. Right now, Asians are also getting blamed in some parts of the world for supposedly being the source of the virus. In the  X-Men: The Animated Series  episode "Time Fugitives" - Forge mentioned that mutants were blamed but they were innocent. The moment you realize Nyaa got absorbed into a black hole...  I may not be the first to react like I'm not the first one to do episode reviews with my opinions shared into them. So it's going to be hard and I feel like I'm despair. So there's some migration issues for all the fan subbers. There's going to be some adjustments for the fan subbers. I just want to reveal my frustration and it's wasn't a lucky day for many viewers. Some of the fan subbers have already transferred to Anidex  ever since what could be the tragic end of Nyaa. From what I heard, the owner willingly shut it down for personal reasons. I could understand that if there were some issues like inability to pay bills but I also smell a rotten conspiracy. Do some people to blame the Yellow Empire's shadow empress from the United States? Hmmm I want to pretend the empress of the Yellow Empire wants to get rid of any competition and force people to watch telebasuras all day long. Wh...

Well  would like to announce that I have removed several eye candy pages.  As said, they were not meant to be here which as said, eye candy is fine but this is not the right place.  So I really ended up not putting the eye candy at the right place. Here's me wishing to all my readers a happy new year to everyone.  We are now looking forward to the end of Kyoryuger and the beginning of Tokkyuger, more Kamen Rider Gaim and Power Rangers Super Megaforce is on the way.  And for more... I'll be quite busy soon so don't expect much blog posts or whatever from me.  Meanwhile... Here's a real nosebleed whether you are for all Super Sentai and Power Rangers fans out there!

Well it will be a few days and it will be New Year soon.  Now for what to expect for 2014... First we have Ressha Sentai Tokyuger which leaves me some bad impression.  I hope this one will get a good writer/producer tandem to which imo, I really wish Naruhisa Arakawa will make a return to becoming the headwriter.  For me, the design looks really bad for my taste but I hope it will have a good story and execution. Meanwhile I wish Power Rangers Super Megaforce will air ASAP and not delay any further.  At this point, is the Toei Ltd./Nickelodeon/Saban Brands agreement having some problems as of late?  I guess Toei should arrange Power Rangers to be aired somewhere else instead of Nickelodeon. From Orends Range, fellow Toku comrade UkiyaSeed had just revealed the sad news that director Takao Nagaishi died due to progressive supranuclear palsey at age 68, reminds me of Soga Machiko's death also at more or less the same age as well as my late auntie.  Rest in peace, you will be sorely missed. So thanks to all the people who visit my blog every now and then and have linked me, link me and if you have a good blog, I will link you type of deal.  Now I'll make the honest confession that when this blog started, I intended to turn this into a hate blog against Power Rangers but thankfully it did not end that way.  It was pretty much like I was ran off by hatred, more hatred and all because of my bad side of me that's pretty opinionated and easily irritated when something I like isn't popular.  However the more I looked at it, I began to realize I still respected Power Rangers no matter how corny some seasons can be for me but there are good seasons. Pretty much, by respecting Power Rangers and simply giving it its due credit as a legitimate adaptation licensed by Toei, by not bashing Power Rangers I was able to reach out to Power Rangers fans who were pretty much ignorant about Super Sentai.  Now they are coming in here, getting some information while also s...

Well it's my birthday today and the Kyoryugers have just timed to give a present to me and all those who are celebrating their birthday with me today.  So I guess for all Sentai fans with the same birthday as I do, it's been a nice present for everyone.  And also thanks to all my supporters for helping me reach the 1,000,000th mark but I hope you will check out my other blogs like the the Oriental Fanatics Celebs where I'll be putting all your favorite Henshin actors and actresses instead of this blog.

When I started this blog, I just thought I didn't really have a sense of direction or was ignorant about blogging.  In fact, I just wanted to spread Super Sentai knowledge to people especially to Power Rangers fans.  Well, at first I thought I wanted to turn this into a hate blog but later, by not being a picker on Power Rangers and marketing Super Sentai as nicely as possible, I began to get more audience by not being an unfair hater.  So yeah, tomorrow's my birthday and the Kyoryuger's first episode.  But I may be catering to my other blogs than this one for other reasons.  Xie xie, arigato and thank you to the supporters especially to Power Rangers fans who are open minded about Super Sentai.

  To all of you who are graduating, the Megarangers would like to wish you all... CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL COLLEGE STUDENTS!  DO WELL IN THE FUTURE!  LEARNING NEVER STOPS! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS- CHOOSE THE COURSE THAT SUITS YOU BEST! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL ELEMENTARY STUDENTS, HIGH SCHOOL IS A DIFFERENT LEVEL! Let's all be realistic with education, not too theoretical!  So let's all work together for a better future! I just used a Megaranger picture instead because the ending had a graduation in the most formal way. :P
