This week's episode can be a real tearjerker with some classic flashbacks. Is it me or is King-Ohger trying to invoke as many narrative tools in both Western and Asian shows? I could keep mentioning how Super Sentai became more kiddie (and hey, IT'S A KIDDIE SHOW) since 2001. However, this episode does have some elements that may make ANY grown man cry. I may have not cried but I assume some people had their tissues! Racules mentions how Chikyu is destined to be ruled by Dugdead Dujardin. Maybe, that's what Gira was suspecting. There was an incident where Racules could've killed Gira but didn't . I have a feeling that Suzume herself is also under Dugdead's control. Gira plans to strike down his older brother Racules but Jeramie stops him. Dugdead later shows up with Racules revealing his status as a puppet king. I have a feeling that Racules was under the influence of Dugdead - almost nearly the same way that Garza fell under the influence of Emperor Yodon. I fe

  I guess it's time for me to make another confession now, isn't it? Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger may be a Japanese show but notice how Toufu (which is really based on Asian culture) is sidelined. I wonder if N'Kosopa is actually supposed to represent another Asian country or not. The other nations such as Shugoddom, Ishabana, and Gokkan are really representations of Western countries. There's a budget really which would explain why CGI is used. There are going to be different locations here and there - unlike Knights of Tir Na Nog which did all the filming in Ireland. The show's got a big budget like it's an anniversary season  after all. The  Super Sentai franchise   usually invokes the Tokyo is the Center of the Universe trope . Yes, that is rather absurd superhero logic in many superhero shows. The episode preview from last week gave us Shugo Mask. Just who is Shugo Mask? The end of the Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger arc is here. A lot of new stuff is about to take place. I guess this can get predictable and many have guessed it. I was thinking of the Dark Knight from Kagaku Sentai Dynaman - whose identity was rather predictable. It's amazing how Chikyu looks identical to Earth. It might be time to get ready for that bandwagon of people who insist that Super Sentai has a timeline to enter .   I guess this topic deserves its own separate post, right? After the 32nd and 33rd episodes of Ohsama Sentai King-Onger  - I believe Toe just burst my bubble! My only assumption was that Chikyu is Another Earth. Chikyu is the Japanese word for Earth just as Terra is the Latin name. The revelation that Jeramie gave was that his father made the mural.  What's revealed from episode 32 is this Jurassic Park-style  reference. Jeramie discovers that Chikyu and Earth are two different worlds. I almost wanted to bring up movies like the failed (but somewhat Vindicated by History) movie Super Mario Bros. live-action movie last 1993. Maybe, I could think of Kamen Rider BLACK RX where Crisis' home world is a shadow of Earth. It turns out that people from Earth migrated away from Earth 2,000 years ago to a similar planet.   I really feel Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger is really THAT big of a budget with almost every episode. Last year's Avatar Sentai Donbrothers nor Kikou Sentai Zenkaiger got this festive. I guess Toei probably saw Super Sentai wasn't kicking off by the 45th anniversary. That's why I did have a proposal that Super Sentai could use a hiatus like Kamen Rider did. The big difference was Toei was juggling with several shows for some time. The now-discontinued but never-forgotten Metal Hero franchise was somehow in the way. This new episode shows just how much money Toei is pouring into. Heck, I'm even finding Kamen Rider Gotchard to be given less budget too. I could be wrong but I think a lot of budget from Kamen Rider Geats has been slowly allocated for King-Ohger . Last week's episode had Deboss return but not in completion.
