It's been a long time since I didn't do an episode review. Well, this is a mixed rant again. Last year, I practically got exhausted doing Kikou Sentai Zenkaiger episode reviews. Well, I got exhausted doing episode reviews in general. Now, I decide dto poke fun at Donbrothers again. I wonder if I'm really enjoying it or am I just enjoying bashing it? Granted, I still feel that Haruka Kito, like Zoey Reeves of Power Rangers Beast Morphers , is that REDEEMING CHARACTER that should beat up the executives of their respective shows . Though, I feel Toshiki Inoue has given Donbrothers!Haruka better layers than both Zoey and Yoko Usami from Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters in some way. Though, not entirely.  The Kamen Rider franchise as a show within a show in Donbrothers ?  The episode begins with a TV set. Donbrothers!Kaito is watching the finale of Kamen Rider Revice . This year hits the 10th anniversary of Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters . I guess it's time to give Go-Busters a WELL-DESERVED tribute. I was thinking about how I was pretty much in the closet about how I felt about the show . I'd dare say I have that bad habit of listening too much to fan opinion or not listening at all to suit my needs, right? I feel Go-Busters deserves some vindication by history. I feel that just because a certain someone dislikes it that I should dislike it. Now, on for the Go-Busters' to get Vindicated By History.  WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD!  I read through Henshin Grid where the webmaster wrote a theoretical insight . Meanwhile, it was something when Dryed Mangoez's webmaster Jeff wrote a rather positive review for the series . Later on, it was followed where Jeff   actually wrote a bad review for Beast Morphers . What was the whole thing with it? I guess this was a series that was probably well-liked by older fans but not by the younger fans. Yasuko Koba

  I was thinking about it that Yasuko Kobayashi is probably still a fan favorite. I think it's very common to see her name probably mentioned alongside Judd Lynn (who I think is just  overhyped by the fans ). With Go-Busters on its 10th anniversary and ToQGer getting its 10th by 2024 - I felt I wanted to write this post. If you're not a fan of spoilers - please DON'T READ. Seijuu Sentai Gingaman Kobayashi did get some minor Toku work such as with Janperson . Later on, Kobayashi did become an important contributor to Denji Sentai Megaranger as a secondary writer. This week's Donbrothers episode has Tyuyoshi Kijino LOSE HIS JOB because his boss (Manager Yamada) became the next MOTW or Hikotsuki. The Goggle V reference was there with the ribbon. Tyuyoshi was asking about his salary but all Donbrothers!Kaito replies is, "Superheroism has always been an act of charity. It's like doing volunteer work." In short, there's really NO PAYMENT for it presumably because the heroes have their day jobs. But how does it work PER SEASON" This would be a challenging rant since one needs to look across various entries of Super Sentai . We've already had 46 seasons and a question worth asking is, " How many older Super Sentai series did you watch up to this point? " A hard question to answer BECAUSE of the generation gaps . I doubt it the newer fans will want to watch Goranger from start to end (and I confess, I FAILED THAT CHALLENGE and it's probably going to be overshadowed even more). I feel like Power Rangers fans

  Surprise, I did some Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters rewatching. I was in the closet about liking that show. Now, I'm going to say that I'm a fan of Go-Busters and I don't care anymore if a show's popular or not. I've marathoned up to the two-parter where Go-Busters had a team-up with the legendary Gavan. It would be important to know that it's actually Gavan's 40th anniversary this year. This reminds me of the time when I used to watch Gavan badly-dubbed in Tagalog as Sky Ranger Gavin on ABC-5 . Now, it's time to take a memory lane to pay respect to one of the greatest old-school heroes. Back in 1982, Gavan premiered alongside Dai Sentai Goggle V while Kamen Rider took yet another hiatus. The popularity of Gavan brought in two direct sequels with different new heroes namely Ucchu Seiju Sharivan and Ucchu Seijuu Shaider. There was no Internet back then so it was a big deal when I missed an episode of Gavan like I missed an episode of this and that. I rememb

It's no secret that I can be very critical (or even NEGATIVE) about newer Super Sentai while I still have good vibes with most newer Kamen Rider . Puzzling? Not really if one can have multiple preferences. It's like how I can enjoy K-Drama even if I dislike most K-Pop music like tea with cream cheese. Now, I've been checking out and Toshiki Inoue has been writing episodes of Avatar Sentai Donbrothers STRAIGHT without assistance. I can't exactly determine how it'd work out since burnouts are a very bad thing .  I guess Kikou Sentai Zenkaiger had some backlash last year. I felt Bokkowaus was a waste of the great Joji Nakata's voice talent too. Personally, I found it very disheartening and I think Junko Komura sucks as an anniversary writer . I even felt Super Sentai was going to die with Doubotsu Sentai Zyuohger due to the low ratings. I even felt that the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger crossover was nothing more than a bailout or fanservice. Granted, this year is the 20th anniversary of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger . Personally, I felt this series was more than enough to bury Shuriken Sentai Ninninger - a show that only got "bailed out" because of the terrible reviews that Power Rangers Ninja Steel kept getting . Personally, I still REFUSE to rewatch Ninninger as it's been mind-numbing while  the crossover with Kamen Rider Drive was pretty decent . Moving back to the topic - one could think of the sequence of Super Sentai a few years back before 2022. The late 1990s did have some change of direction. It might be important to think about how Super Sentai went during the late 1990s up to 2002 when Hurricanger first aired. Choriki Sentai Ohranger was trying to be as serious as possible. However, the Sarin Gas Incident caused it to become a rollercoaster series.
