Okay, I decided to revisit and update this post which was written last 2014 . This is just some random post I wrote. I decided to update this post since Toshiki Inoue had returned to become a Super Sentai head writer in 2022 with Avatar Sentai Donbrothers . So far, Donbrothers is enjoyable and it has managed to keep the Ranger History lessons to a mininum. 2022 is also 10 years after Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters . I felt that Inoue was somehow underutilized in Super Sentai during the 2000s - maybe except for the guest writing that he did during Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger's "cruel episode". Yes, I still stand by it me thinking it's a very cruel episode. Go ahead, get mad, but as said I still think it's a cruel episode. Still, I felt that the "cruel episode" should've been a hint that Inoue was fit to be a writer for Go-Busters .  Yasuko Kobayashi became the head writer. It can't be denied that Toshiki Inoue had worked with Yasuko Kobayashi with Timeranger as a secondary writer, he worked with Yasuko Kobayashi in Kamen Rider Agito (she wrote episode 28) and well he was also the secondary writer of Kamen Rider Ryuki where he introduced that very useless Megumi character but at the same time, managed to keep the conflict going.  Now looking at the setting of Shinkenger happened after Kamen Rider Kiva when Inoue (and Kobayashi) both jumped from darker and edgier stuff to attempt the lighter and softer.  So here's what I think he might actually do if he ever had any chance to co-write Shinkenger: I guess poor Genta will become his target for his type of humor.  I mean, just watch episodes 29-30 of Kamen Rider Blade and we have that stupid cooking battle (that kind of episode could have worked better in Kamen Rider OOO or Kamen Rider Kiva, both lighter series than in the darker and edgier series like Blade) but it could work well in Shinke...

Toshiki Inoue the man responsible behind Chojin Sentai Jetman and Kamen Rider Agito also was responsible for the burned out works like Kamen Rider Faiz which is his most serious work (but also my least favorite) then he started dabbling with comedy.  For his comedy, things can be so-so but let's see how that might affect Akibaranger.  Watching his comedic works, here's what really might not work with Akibaranger if he were writing it either has a head writer or an episode writer... How bad can Toshiki Inoue's comedy get?  Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Kamen Rider Kiva for it being cartoony but other than that, Inoue can sometimes get annoying with his humor in my own watch.  In fact, that whole Takoyaki vs. Taiyaki battle in Kamen Rider Blade (he was a sub-writer) was relying on blatant stupidity than well-timed comedy.  Another I might mention is that Kiva's weaker points in its humor was why in the world is Nago switching between being Gai Yuki 2.0., Hikaw...
