Kiramager 32: There's Something About Sayo

What I expected to be just another episode turns out that there's something BIG going on. Yup, it's those pink rangers with one-shot romances whether they were good (or bad). Recently, Sayo herself is seeing out her former colleague Yujin Kusaka. However, something is really looming as a dark plot is about to unveil for a cliffhanger.

We see Sayo out on a date. Oh wait, where have we seen pink rangers out on a date? A couple of times actually! Granted, this episode is written by Naruhisa Arakawa. If you do some research then you'll realize that Dairanger's 33rd episode was also written by Arakawa and involved Rin's date with a man acted by Kazunori Inaba (Takeru in Maskman).

The Riddle Jamen plays riddles and you can't attack it unless you answer them. I admit that I really didn't answer any of them. I was hoping for a bit of recycling of the Dora Sphinx from Zyuranger. In this case, Arakawa decided to do a bit of creative turn here.

Yodonna just proves herself to be THAT overbearing bitch. There are times that I just want to slap her face for being such a bitch. Carantula also shows the process of making a Marrsk Beast. Garza plans to launch more than one at once.

Garza decides to try and corrupt Hakobu to go to Atamard. The sibling rivalry between Garza and Oradin is far from over. I wonder how it'll turn out. Garza shows he's still a threat to be feared in this episode.

Genetic engineering? I'm getting vibes from the Parasite Eve franchise and the Resident Evil franchise. Well, both franchises come from Japan, right? The plan almost looks like it's taken from some Hollywood movie. There's some pop culture reference here.

The Kiramagers manage to solve the riddles and start their all-out assault on Riddle Jamen. However, they don't realize that it's but a diversion to a much bigger plan.

Yodonna does take pleasure in being a manipulative bitch, right? It's really so scary how she could manipulate people into helping her and how conveniently she DUMPS them like Ahames does it in Changeman or Trakeena in Lost Galaxy. You can imagine just how evil she gets in here. I do feel like I want to slap Yodonna's face right now for being such a bitch. That's what makes her quite a good villain.

Sayo hands over her bracelet to Yujin. I do feel Sayo's hurt when Yujin tricks her. Though, we can blame Yodonna more as she really knows how to be such a bitch. Though, I'm not too impressed at Sayo's out-of-suit. Maybe, it's because she doesn't seem to have what made Matsuri from GoGoFive and Dana from Lightspeed Rescue more badass in that regard. Still, credits to Mio Kudo for effort!

The Kiramagers finish off Riddle Jamen. What they don't realize is that something big is about to hit them. The Kiramagers are suddenly faced with not one, not two, but THREE Jamen Beasts out of the ground.

Yodonna now has kidnapped Sayo. I can't imagine what Yodonna might do to Sayo. I'm just imagining that Yodonna may consider turning Sayo into a kamikaze bomber. I can't really imagine what Yodonna as a bitch is up to now. Just remember that Yodonna is a BITCH.

Next week would probably be the climax of this two-parter. I wonder how will Garza's plan work out before he's defeated? I wonder what Yodon Army will be doing next.
