Kiramager 40: Aching Person

This week's Kiramager episode is written by Tomihiko Tokunaga -- a new name I just jumped into RIGHT NOW. This week's episode seemed somewhat serious when you think that somebody could fall into serious despair.

Juuru is amazed at someone for having good illustrations while looking through his tablet. He wants to know how to draw better.

Meanwhile, the Illusion Granterstone is now about to be put into good use. Carantula uses Wire Jamen who can shapeshift into anyone. However, it does have the serious flaw of a wire sticking out -- not a very good plan. However, they plan to turn a human into a monster.

Product placement? I do feel like Monde Nisin's famous Fita biscuits are promoted in that episode. You may notice that they could be eating what could be the Fita biscuits from the Philippines. Is this another way to celebrate Japan's status as an ally of the Philippines?

Wire Jamen has the Muddites capture some humans but finds no suitable victim. This would later move forward to the plot.

Wire Jamen disguises himself as Kiramei Blue. This causes some serious trouble as the real Kiramei Blue is the one who gets hurt. But the whole episode wont' be focused on dividing the rangers. Instead, it's trying to turn a human into a monster.

A guest character is named Hatasaburo. Wait, wut? You have the name Hatte Saburo (a collective pen name) in Toei Ltd. I guess Toei does love to make fun of itself, right? Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger was already full of Toei making fun of itself in a whole new level.

The Kiramagers are trying to figure out how to outsmart the monster. However, it just creates some crazy results in doing so. What they don't realize is that Carantula's plan has switched to turning Hattasaburo into a monster.

Hattasaburo is turned into a monster. This causes some serious problems. Fortunately, Kiramei Red's use of Dashark rescues Hattasaburo from within. They finish the monster but the monster of the week isn't done yet.

Yodonna shows just how bitchy she can get. Perhaps, that's why Emperor Yodon loves to dwell in her body via the Yodonna Mask. Hopefully, Yodonna will get a separate body of her own before she inevitably gets destroyed. Also, too bad no crossover between Kiramager and Ryusoulger because I want to see Canalo attempt to woo the bitchy Yodonna. Kiramei Red destroys Wire Jamen after he's handed over to his death.

Hatta Saburo's work makes it. This causes Juuru to want to work even harder.

Next week might be a crazy episode involving cats. Yes, cats. Sentai has had some cat monsters then and now such as in Goggle V, Dynaman, Jetman, Kakuranger, and Ninninger prior to next week's episode. Meanwhile, I do feel my Super Sentai vibes are dropping AGAIN ever since I'm watching other new stuff these days. Yup, I'll always be that casual fan to just about everything!
