Shinichi Ishihara Sang For The Tatsumis And Did A Cover Rendition For The Hoshikawas

The singer Shinichi Ishihara first did his Super Sentai contribution with the Turbo Rugger theme song. He was then made the lead singer for Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive's opening theme. Here's the GoGoFive opening theme's English translation:

Here's the cover version of Fiveman's opening theme sang by Ishihara. The original singer was Kenji Suzuki. Hmmm... I wonder when was this better version of the original released? I can ignore Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue all I want while watching GoGoFive. However, I can't watch GoGoFive without thinking about its supposed inspiration for a sibling family -- Chikyu Sentai Fiveman! Fiveman nearly ended a franchise and it was Chojin Sentai Jetman that saved it. Ishihara's version was a Sony CBS Cover Version.

Here's Fiveman's opening theme lyrics in English with talks about the siblings bonding together. IMHO, GoGoFive may be miles better with plot while Fiveman brings the better song. Sigh, I wish GoGoFive tried to make the song more family-ish... =P
