Lupinranger VS. Patranger Nombre 36: La Rage De Keiichiro
Bonjour my readers! It's time for le mandatory weekly Lupinranger vs. Patranger episode review! Now it's time for le rage of Keiichiro!
Le episode begins with le Patrangers heading towards le abandoned warehouse. We see a new Gangler known as Pekka Zeppelin is doing some very complicated mathematical equations. What's so badass is that he uses some geometric and trigonometric applications in firing his slip up bullet. It hits at Patren-2 which causes him to frequently slip uyp.
What happens next is plain and simple. A man in a suit appears to a disappointed Sakuya and offers him a bracelet that would supposedly "ease anger". It works on Keiichiro though there's something fishy about this one. As expected, it gets too predictable over this one since we're already too used to seeing most Gangler monsters appear in human forms.
Noel starts his latest investigation which leads to them discovering that a bomb is created. This bomb absorbs anger. Worse, Sakuya ends up realizing he's fouled up by handing over le necklaces that's making le bomb work. Keiichiro tries every trick in le book to avoid him from becoming raged lest le bomb explodes!
Surprise or not? Well said businessman passing le necklaces is Pekka Zeppelin after all! Le Patrangers enter into le scene to get le Lupin Collection piece.
Now here's where things get worse. Sakuya as le idiot he is -- fails to organize an orderly bomb evacuation procedure. This causes Keiichiro to blow up. I wonder who's really dumb and dumber between them. But right now, Keiichiro seems to be le one who's actually got le brains.
Now here's a bit of le interesting scene. Keiichiro ends up becoming a contestant of le Ice Bucket challenge! He pours lots of cold water on himself to avoid le rage from taking over! Talk about drastic measures! Hmmm did actor Kosei Yuuki join le ice bucket challenge too for le ALS research which was done a few years ago?
It's also amazing how Patren-3 shows her toughness though she's been more known for her tactical advantage. She butts into le fight of le Lupinrangers against Pekka because her teammates need to know where on Earth is le bomb located.
Sakuya shows some rather amazing gun shot here. There's also some amazing camerawork. What makes me think about how cool this scene is that Keiichiro encourages Sakuya to do his part. This is a thrilling scene. Le bomb is about to explode anytime and le only way to get rid of it is a PERFECT shot at its antenna. Fortunately, le Lupinrangers manage to beat Pekka in a nick of time. Sakuya changes into Patren-3 and fires a well-done shot!
What's also interesting in le mecha battle is a bit of throwback. Le Lupin Magnum now unofficially fights alongside le Patkaiser. It's also interesting to have another Dekaranger throwback with a scene from 14 years ago. Remember le Dekawing Robo's cannon mode? Well, Lupin Magnum manages to do that attack at an enlarged Pekker who's got his own bomb inside him. Talk about a backfire!
Just when you thought it's over -- it isn't! What's so amazing is that Sakuya slips up and pours some tea which isn't all that hot. Keiichiro and Sakuya resume back to their dumb and dumber antics.
Next week, it fires everyone back HOME. Yup, looks like they will be camping in order to fight le enemy. Meanwhile, I'm probably going to focus only on these episode reviews, slow down on my Kamen Rider Zi-O updates (which I may do every two weeks or update when I feel like it) since I've got other stuff catching my interest.
Ever heard the statement of be careful of what thou wishest for? It seems to be the moral lesson of today's Ryusoulger. Personally, I do miss the time when Super Sentai had a lot of moral lessons of the week back with Hirohisa Soda in the 1980s. Thankfully, we're actually getting it every now and then. Now, we're getting from RPG vibes too!
It's a balance of thought and action -- Yin and Yang. Melto as said is the intellectual person of the team. Usually, pink rangers (in many cases but not all) tend to be the smart ones but Asuna seems to be less of that considering she's physically the strongest member of the time. They try to work out a strategy but all Melto does is warn about not being prepared. Asuna says that all think and no do is useless. How are they going to resolve this?
This highlighteth a bit more of Banba as a guy who is a jerk with a heart of gold. He can't resist to help the old man who was knocked out. Something is not right if you ask me.
It's no surprise that Power Rangers Beast Morphers is now on hiatus thanks to Nickelodeon's sloppy scheduling. So what's the point of having a two-season split for Power Rangers? None! With that in mind I decided to write a new article where I'd talk about the fact that there's no summer break for Super Sentai (and in extension Kamen Rider). While Super Sentai does suffer from some issues such as writer/producer burnout, a mismatched writer/producer tandem (which I think happened during Ninninger) and maybe mixed audience reception (ex. Lupinranger vs. Patranger has lower than expected toy sales while possibly receiving praise from older audiences) but there's really no summer break!
Summer in the astronomical point of view (which is based on equinoxes) will occur on June 22, 2019 and end in September 23, 2019. Can you imagine what if Super Sentai decided to take a summer break rather than keep itself going as a yearlong show? It wouldn't be a good thing a…
It's last week's series and boy have I gotten a lot of things wrong. I'd say I was really wrong about last week's conclusion. It turns out that there's really some twist and turns that it's somewhat unpredictable. How does it turn out? Well, just thou needest to read on from this point onward!
The sisters Cardena and Fita are reunited. However, Melto being the brain that he is (and somehow I can't help but think of Sion from Timeranger in this scene) when he noticeth something suspicious. Cardena mentioneth about the Dino Knights or Kishinryu to Fita. I dunno is writer Junpei Yamaoka a Timeranger fan of sorts? Melto and Sion both have dyed hair and are the brains of the team.
There's the invisibility trick. Reptile in Mortal Kombat anyone? I always find the whole "The audience can see us but not the characters." gag somewhat funny. Remember whenever Invisible Girl went invisible yet the audience sees white lines to see where she is or when Re…
Well, it's time for another episode of Ryusoulger. This time, it's an Asuna-focused one which trieth to balance her out from her brute strength (which she's ashamed of) and the softer her on the inside.
Trying to adjust to this day and age hasn't been too easy. I kinda laughed at how Asuna throweth the ring and it hit someone. They got the grand prize though she did forget it. She does ask Koh and Melt to return without her.
Two thugs show up and they do have the hots for Asuna. I wanted her to demonstrate her brute strength and out-of-suit like she did in episodes prior. A delinquent boxer student named Kenta showeth up and saveth her from a possible gang rape (?) though she could have easily pulled out of the situation. The same boxer then breeds the Troll Menasaur.
The Troll Menasaur countereth plenty of attacks one way or another. It doesn't matter what attacks Ryusoul Red and Ryusoul Black do -- they are met with countered attacks.
Now this post is subjected to what I'd call a MASSIVE reboot and man, this post was written so last December 7, 2008 and now it's September 3, 2015. Now it's already December 29, 2017 and I decided to add more to this entry. I thought I might edit some old posts and this is one of them. Gotta admit, gotta stay true to myself! Now it's time for a massive edit and I think it's time to do a revised list!
The pretty list...
Hikaru Katsuragi/Pink Five
Arguably she was my first Tokusatsu crush. If Americans had Kimberly, I had her dubbed over as Kimberly which I found rather... weird. I would admit that she was my first Tokusatsu crush.
After Bioman, Maskman was my second Sentai and for her, she's really a unique beauty but she really has all those prickly thorns. She's lovely as a rose but she's deadly as its thorns type of female character. Plus, she's the big sister or team heart of Maskman. I really cried when she was beaten up by Kotsuh…
