Ryusoulger Episode 7: The Princess Of Planet Cepheus

The Druidons have flown into space some millions of years ago. It turns out that they have been occupying various planets. This kind of leads to a confusion to what really could've happened. Tankjo once talked about reclaiming the Earth so did they once occupy the Earth? Everything seems murky but let's focus on this episode.

The beginning has both Melt and Asuna both having lessons on science. They learn about the body conducting electricity -- which causes the occasional friction and light electric shock against each other. Extra electrons baby! What's amazing is that Tyramigo finally talks probably from watching television. The Ryusoulgers are trying to adjust to this day and age.

It's confirmed -- the Ryusoulgers have been around for that long. 200 years? I wonder how slow time is for the Ryusoulgers? 200 is probably merely 20 human years for them. Koh mentioneth that he's actually 209 years old in human years. My wild guess is that a member of the Ryusoul Tribe would age every 100 years. So talk about staying in infancy for 100 years. I guess it'd mean you'd stay for 100 years in one level of school and it'd take another 100 years to move to the next level.

There's some amazing training scenes going on between Banba and Towa. This has to be what I'd call getting extra effort done by the main cast. Raw power! Just as they are training -- Banba mentioneth to Towa not to trust others so easily. Just what led Banba to become so distrustful? It's not yet known but we will soon get into it!

Princess Cardena is chased by Druidon soldiers. The brothers do something I find weird in newer Super Sentai -- fighting out-of-suit while waiting for your suit to don you. So why haven't the bad guys thought of exploiting that?! Then again the show must go on and villains lacking common sense tend to be entertaining. I mean if Scott Evil were in charge -- Austin Powers wouldn't get more than one movie, right?

Princess Cardena of Cepheus is quite distrustful too. She thinks the two are members of Druidon. I don't blame her due to a later flashback of their planet getting seized. She's on a mission to find her own twin sister.

The Cockatric Menasaur is born from a famous singer. So what's with all that? What caused the negative emotions to be born from the singer? It doesn't seem we'll all find out considering that the story focuseth on the two sisters Cardena and Fita. No, I'm not talking about the Fita biscuits here okay?

Kou comes out with a rather creative plan. He pretendeth to be knocked out then he doth a rather impressive attack out-of-suit. I wonder how much action doth one person auditioning for the main cast need to show to win? It's pretty impressive if you ask me!

Just then a new Druidon general known as Wizeru shows up. Flashy entrance and doing it Las Vegas style! I wonder what kind of plans will he use?

It's just really despicable to use children as shields. It remindeth me of Gurail's first appearance in Megaranger where children were used as shields. They know that the superheroes love children so why not children against them, right?

Cardena revealeth her song and her past. She revealeth that she's looking for her younger sister to the others. I kind of like the melody brought by singer Reika Tanaka -- this is my first time to be introduced to her and to hear her sing! It just remindeth me how Super Sentai tendeth to introduce me to some important performers. Hmmm did anybody remember when Ninninger also had a Korean singer Shin Won Ho as a guest star?

The Ryusoulgers arrive in the park just in time. They also perform some amazing stunt scenes while waiting for their suits to fully cover them. Is it me or doth Toei somehow find a way to incorporate more action scenes? Kyuranger had some instances where the cast of characters would activate their transformation sequence, it takes a while and they beat up mooks while at it.

Again, children are used proving that just because the villains are stupid -- it doesn't meant that they are harmless. Creon calleth for the children to attack the Ryusoulgers. I just find moments where the writers somehow forget that the heroes are holding their swords here. It remindeth me of that rather dumb Bioman episode where Green Two thought he killed a human -- he was talking to the kid while holding to the Bio Sword in short sword mode. They could have hurt someone. Then again the Ryusoulgers are pretty much experts in holding weapons or are acting out of impulse. Still, I wish these rare moments are addressed too!

Cardena showeth up and singeth her melody breaking the hypnosis. I just find Creon's plan to crush both the Ryusoulgers and children to be one of those moments where the plan is brilliant but the show must go on, right? The Ryusoulgers engage in giant battle except for Towa and Banba. Both Banba and Towa rescue the kidnapped hostages. They find Fita and Ui along with the others. I wonder though will Ui end up help the heroes in finding Bandai merchandise for the rest of the show?

There's the fortress mode which does look funny if you ask me. Cockatrice Menasaur is using the sun to ensnare them. I wonder does Cockatrice Menasaur care about getting cancer by getting too close to the sun?

The Ryusoulgers use Kishinryu-Oh Five Knights but they are outmatched. Awhile ago, they are battling like crazy. Has it ever occurred to anyone how Super Sentai and Power Rangers endeth up with scenes where you do giant monster battles, city gets badly damaged and you wonder if somebody got stepped on? I guess the authorities do have some safety evacuation proceedings off-screen. They couldn't shoot at the carousel though because it's moving and there's passengers inside. Hmmmm... Toku logic at its weirdest so suspension is disbelief is required at many instances!

The two sisters are reunited for now. The series ends with a cliffhanger for the reason that the enlarged Cockatrice Menasaur manageth to escape during the giant monster battle. I'm even wondering how this arc will be concluded.

Next week -- it'd be the conclusion of the sister act. I wonder how the arc will be concluded. It also will involve tense drama between Koh and Banba. I hope Banba will reveal why he's such a distrustful guy!
