Ryusoulger 43 - The Druidon's Mother Revealed
Well, I don't know what to say right now. What's obvious is that the quality of my Ryusoulger posts have been going down - no questions asked. At this point, a new villain namely the Big Bad of the series called Eras is introduced as the Druidons' mother. I wish she will gain some fearsome monster form rather than just stay the core that she is. Otherwise, I'd love to raise my disappointments with how the Creation King from Kamen Rider Black was just a disembodied heart!
Banba does some martial arts fanservice for the audience. It's amazing to see actor Tatsuya Kishida really do these impressive fight scenes himself. Is he the strongest cast member? There's an interesting flashback of his former mentor, Master Black.
The Ryusoulgers now face the true, fearsome power of Eras slowly. Pricious mentions the name of Eras who has yet to speak. The giant robot battle didn't last long though. I didn't like this introduction that much.
Banba has his memories accessed in order to reveal the past with Master Black. Interestingly, you've got Sentai sempai Masaru Nagai from Mirai Sentai Timeranger. Apparently, Master Black fell into the service of Eras. Whether or not he's brainwashed and crazy or he's evil at his own free will isn't known. Quite interestingly, Nagai himself was also Captain Ryuuya as he was Time Red. So I guess Nagai doesn't hate Timeranger huh?
There are times Oto can become like D.W. in Arthur but to a lesser degree. At least, she's not stupid enough to break Canaro's model airplanes. Though, the episode where she took the Ryusoul Calibur without permission was just facedesk. Like really, I remembered why I even stopped watching Hey Arthur was because of the character D.W.!
The Ryusoulgers are determined to finally destroy Eras but can it be enough? I do hope Eras takes bodily form before she handles the Ryusoulgers. What's disappointing me now though is that why are we lacking human-faced villains for a good time already? I kinda missed seeing more human-faced villains already! They plan to go into the same temple. Oto sneaks in and you know it's not a good idea, right?
Next week, this doesn't look good. The way Nagai paints a sinister smile suggests that he's really on the side of evil now. But what if he's not? I'm really nervous about how it'll turn out.
