Kiramager 12: Enter Kiramei Silver

Well, it's time for a new Kiramager episode. I can't blame Toei for deciding to launch Kiramei Silver in the 12th episode. The Legacy Virus did hit hard after all, right? Anyway, it's time to launch a review here. Sorry if I've had a quality decline of episodes reviews here because I'm caught up by other new stuff on Netflix and other related platforms.

The beginning of the episode has Sayo meets a mysterious young man in silver. Well, spoilers, he's obviously Takamichi Crystalia or Kiramei Silver. Sayo goes on a mountain trip but fails to bring her henshin device. This creates a dilemma that she can't be found. Fortunately, she's found by the hero in debut here.

Garza and Carantula both prepare a new plan. Garza senses something he doesn't want to feel. Carantula has a plan to destabilize Carat.

CARAT does have one of its facilities. I guess it's only normal for Super Sentai organizations (for some) that they would need a back-up organization. Last we saw something similar was in Changeman, Ohranger, Megaranger, GoGoFive, and Dekaranger. A new monster known as Meteorite Jamen shows up. Again, is it me or are many of the monsters here, looking like from Goranger?

So, the two begin in what could be a misadventure. Takamichi is obsessed with treasure. He carries Sayo over his back since she was injured. They go towards a mountain to find the treasure.

Just then, it turns out that the treasure they were finding is a rock monster that takes over people's bodies. However, it goes out on its way and would later possess Meteorite Jamen. We see a bit of what stunt that actor Kohei Shoji can show up.

Sayo is found by both Helico and Jetter. She's still injured so she can't fight yet. She's taken to the battlefield but no fighting for her yet.

Just when the other Kiramagers are in trouble - Takamichi shows up and reveals he's a Kiramager too! This causes him to finally do some crazy moves. The stunt double combined with crazy CGI and pyrotechnics creates a good fight scene. Just reminds me - there's really that tendency to let the sixth ranger beat up a monster-of-the-week singlehandedly on their debut to show how badass they are. It's always making a badass entry until stronger monsters show up later.

I do find the weird stuff that's agreed upon is a kiss returned with a kiss. The ToQGer-like reaction is well-warranted. Again, isn't ToQGer's imagination concept carried over here?

So Takamichi is Mabusheena's... brother? Okay, how did that happen? Maybe, he's adopted by an alien family since he looks human. Or maybe, he's just wearing a disguise. Yet, he has a very human name. I wonder what's built up with that?

Next week should focus on Takamichi's downfall when he got obsessed with treasure hunting. Then again, I don't know if I should take a break from Super Sentai because I'm finding other stuff more worth watching. Also, I have to admit that Kamen Rider Zero-One's return has been way more exciting for me.
