Kiramager 17: Whack-A-Mole?!

Well, nostalgic factor can't disappear even in the digital age, right? Well, you're probably seeing evolved whack-a-mole arcade games now. But who can't deny they did play whack-a-mole? Well, there's a new plot device here as brought by Riku Sanjo. What is it? Just read on and find out!

The beginning starts with a giant mecha battle. Some Super Sentai episodes tend to do this, especially when introducing a newer, harder foe to defeat. Well, Hammer Basura is one hard MOFO and it's not going to be easy.

After a well-timed retreat - it's time to discuss other stuff. It's revealed that Drijan can become Gigant Drill - a humanoid robot. Right now, Mabusheena doesn't understand yet as to why her brother hunts after treasure.

A recent even has a mysterious game host (who's too obviously a Jamen Beast) has a whack-a-mole challenge. Takamichi finds what he's looking for - it's a piece of a treasure that would grant a wish. Hmmm did Sanjo decide to copy from the Greatest Treasure in the Universe from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger? Maybe, maybe not. Granted, Naruhisa Arakawa may probably be on a break so...

Whack-a-mole? It turns out that Whack-A-Mole Jamen has been collecting dark energy for a reason. Is it for the revival of their still hidden and silent Big Bad Emperor Yodon? Maybe, maybe not.

No surprise that Garza has shown up in this plan. It's also part of a treacherous plan to poison both players. Meanwhile, the others are still fighting off Hammer Basura in heavy combat. Kiramei Yellow manages to gain a Super Saiyan boost (hence the cover photo) to finish off the game and get what he came for.

The cool mecha battle now introduces Gigant Drill. So why was the drill introduced a few episodes ago and then we only get to see its humanoid form now? WTH? Anyway, Kiramei Silver becomes a Kiramei Stone and Gigant Drill is formed. I dunno what's the purpose of Toei introducing the humanoid form just now?

Meanwhile, a new darker secret is revealed. Takamichi wants to save his foster sister from a consuming darkness. He begs the others to keep it a secret. Once all four pieces are obtained then that wish can be granted. Would we get an arc devoted to it? Maybe, maybe not.

Next week might be the development of a possible interesting arc. If it is then maybe I'll take a break from blogging here and devote a post to the whole arc. Then again, maybe not. It really depends!
