Kiramager 28: Shiguru's Tears For A New Bandai Merchandise

This week's episode is the beginning of a two-parter. The first part has the mission to restore the Atamard Kirameistone. This week is also written by secondary writer Kaori Kaneko. I'm just wondering though if Naruhisa Arakawa is now given break periods as to avoid him from burning out?

The beginning has a bit of exposition. Juuru has a dream of King Oradin. We also have the key that will open a new dimension but what is this new dimension? Mabusheena wishes to see her father even if it's just a dream.

The fight is now against an invisible foe. It really makes me think about how the stakes are high. The invisible enemy causes the main mecha to crash.

As it figures out - Yodonna is up to her next scheme. For me though, she could've actually sent hordes of suicide bombers to finish the job. Then again, any sadistic bitch would want to prolong the agony of their foes - something that's always detrimental to them succeeding.

The main Kirameistones are all out of shine. The solution is to go to Atamard. Yes, we're going to get a bit of traveling done which is very typical for Super Sentai.

Meanwhile, Masshin Embark has no emotions left. The whole condition that if Juuru and Shigur can't restore his emotions is to be squashed. This really sets a REAL problem when nothing they do work. The comedy and swordsplay didn't work. What will work?

The Kiramagers discover the source of the energy. Hakataminami reveals that a camouflage os taking place.

As expected, Yodonna is not an easy foe. Sayo does sneak up on her which is quite funny. At this point, Yodonna, like Ahames in Changeman and Trakeena in Lost Galaxy, shows she's no easy foe to reckon with. Yodonna powers up the Muddites and lets them play catch the tablet against the Kiramagers. Are they designed to explode eventually? Well, granted, I don't think Toei would want Yodonna attaching bombs to them like Trakeena did in Lost Galaxy with the Stingwiners. Granted with the Legacy Virus outbreak - I don't think Yodonna will get to be as menacing and scary as Ahames and Trakeena were. Though, Yodonna's close-up is still creepy to a certain extent.

As it turns out, Yodonna has unleashed a deadly giant monster known as the Gomoryu. Wait, doesn't that name sound like it was ripped off from the Ultraman franchise? Granted, Ultraman is by Tsubaraya then again, wasn't there a short film called Ultraman vs. Kamen Rider way back in the past? Anyway, the episode is left hanging as the new Bandai merchandise probably needs to combine with the rest.

Next week would be a trip to the mystical realm of Atamard. Hmmm... meanwhile, Kamen Rider Saber is now beginning its Avalon Arc. I wonder how next week will turn out?
