Kiramager 30: A Seventh Warrior?

Will there be a seventh warrior? Well, this would be an interesting episode. So, just read this post to find out. If you've watched this episode then you know the answer. Regardless, I somehow got what I expected to a certain extent.

The beginning has the Kiramagers getting themselves mentally prepared. Yodonna had just arrived and she's making their lives twice as hard. Think of Queen Ahames from Changeman or Trakeena from Lost Galaxy taking matters into their hands.

Is there a seventh warrior? Is Hakataminami meant to become the seventh warrior like Doggie Kruger was in Dekaranger? Just read on and find out!

The latest Marrsk monster, Mannequin Jamen shows up and makes dolls out of people. Sena is among the first which might have been part of Yodonna's plan to get the team separated.

One thing is certain - Yodonna is a BITCH of a woman. She has mercilessly made some of the Muddites as disposables and it may not be long before she uses them as suicide bombers. Her dark aura is really that scary. Now, she's even willing to cut the lifespan of any monster to get what she wants.

Meanwhile, Hakataminami is working hard with the Kiraful Go-Arrow. Is he trying to become the seventh warrior based on the flashback?

Meanwhile, Sayo also becomes a doll and this time - she's more doll-like. This really starts to incapictate the team.

I always felt Carantula doesn't know to whom he's talking to. I mean, you DO NOT answer back at the Emperor's agent. I do feel Yodonna might be Yodon's daughter for all we know. She's really one mean woman who could care less about her subordinates.

It turns out that no, Hakataminami is NOT the seventh warrior. Upset? Not? For me, I expected it. Turns out that he had a special relationship with King Oradin. Hakataminami manages to fix the arrow so they could call the king anytime they need help.

Meanwhile Mannequin Jamen is now using a cowardly tactic. Fortunately, Kiramei Silver and Kiramei Blue find out a way to fix things before they join the others.

Juggling? Using a collision attack? Now, that's some IMAGINATION you got there to defeat the Torso Hildon. It's a really crazy attack if you ask me.

Meanwhile, the Kiramagers notice the bond between Hakataminami and his brother Takamichi. Though, I wonder how Takamichi can adjust between his biological brother and his adoptive sister all the more as the series goes by.

Next week, Naruhisa Arakawa seems to be taking down notes from Honey I Shrunk the Kids. The mecha are all reduced to Bandai merchandise and are mistaken for toys. Granted, Super Sentai is usually aimed at children and has been toned down since 2001 (probably due to Mirai Sentai Timeranger being too mature for some) - I guess an episode like this fits very well for this show!

  1. Michi Nishijima (Emiri Imanaka-Sanjou/AbarePig) will surely like this episode, Sean! Why? Because there are people that are Sentai Wannabes who tried to "help" the Super Sentai Heroes and Heroines throughout the years, both with wit and seriousness. First of all, I just wanna say that Muryou Hakataminami (played by Daimaou Kousaka a.k.a. Pikotaro of Pen Pineapple Apple Pen fame) is a Crystalian since Mashin Sentai Kiramager Episode Zero. Just like anybody else, he wanted to "help" his team, but it ended with some hilarious results. Some extra heroes are temporary, like Ryou Asuka/X1 Mask, Marigold "Marie Gold" Utahime/DekaGold, Luna Kokonoe/Midoninger and others. Others are permanent, like for instance, Hyuuga/Black Knight II, Doctor Ulshade and his granddaughter Yayoi/KyoryuViolet I and II respectively, Tsurugi Outori/Houou (Phoenix) Soldier and so on. There are some wannabes who tried to "helped" them like Radietta Fanbelt/White Racer, Emiri Imanaka-Sanjou/AbarePig and most recently, the ZyuMan. On to my next commentary: Turning people into mannequins is not new in the Super Sentai Series (Poor Sena and Sayo!). 19 years ago, in GaoRanger, Wedding Dress Org turned his female victims in mannequins for the Org Army and transformed Saori Shimada (played by Sayuri Uchida, who previously played Ako Hayasaka/Blue Swallow) into a baby. The plot was foiled when Soutarou Ushigome/GaoBlack destroyed his plans by disguising into a female bride and after the Org Monster was destroyed, everyone returned to their normal state and Shimada was back to its early adult size. This one's different. How I wished Mr. Hakataminami faces the Yodonheim Army with comedy. The ending song is so funny and I don't think it can surpassed the PPAP Song Pikotaro used to sing. Heck, he even sang his PPAP 2020 Version of washing the hands to prevent the COVID-19/Coronavirus from spreading out to another person. "Pray for People And Peace! We Will Win!!!", says the PPAP Man. And I believed in what he says about health awareness. Go, go, go, Pikotaro!
Next week: Miniaturize! When Toy Story meets Tokusatsu, mechas and warriors shrink to small sizes (from Ant Man size to Chibi size to DX Toys size!). Hoped and pray Yodonna, Garza or any members of the Yodonheim will pursue the mother and son, but if the latter refused to surrender the DX Kiramager mecha to the enemy, they'll go to the afterlife! Dan and Boi of ZyuRanger, anyone?
