Kiramager 45: Final Battle, Part 2

Kiramager has only ended with 45 episodes since the Legacy Virus pandemic left us with a lot of casualties. So what happens is that a Sentai series that was supposed to have more than 45 episodes (at most) ends up a bit rushed but not as rushed as Dengekitai JAKQ which lasted for only 35 episodes or most Power Rangers seasons. Amazingly, Power Rangers Lost Galaxy only had 45 episodes too! So, let's get into the finale, shall we?

The big dilemma is the weakness behind Emperor Yodon's mask. The mask can't be broken. Carantula reveals that the emperor usually removes his mask only when he devours his opponents. This really brings a new imaginative plan to destroy the emperor once and for all.

Yodonna can be seen still beaten up. Emperor Yodon reveals his past that he was born from the sea of serpents, born out of negative energy. Doesn't that remind you of Don Armage of Kyuranger or even Grand Bitch Grandienne of GoGoFive? Emperor Yodon reveals that he ended up creating two "children" namely Shadon (who sadly only had one episode) and Yodonna. Yodonna would later die in the emperor's mind. Yodonna comes to terms that her death will allow Emperor Yodon to finally do what he wants to do.

I have to admit that Emperor Yodon's face is rather scary. Personally, I was actually complaing for some time that a lot of Super Sentai villains after Timeranger aren't as scary. I also remembered mocking Zetto of ToQGer for looking rather goofy. Here, Emperor Yodon is rather scary. The Kiramagers manage to use Illusia to trick him and get rid of his mask.

Granted, Emperor Yodon's weakness is light and purity so he shrinks down. I'm just reminded of the final battle in Carranger when Emperor Exhaus was shrunk down to human size by expired sweet potato jelly. Emperor Exhaus releases extra-strong Muddites in an effort to destroy the Kiramagers. They come up with a creative way to use Destructia stone to finally end the emperor's cruel reign for good. I love how they come with an unorthodox, imaginative way of shooting it right into him. Kiramei Green runs into him, Emperor Yodon counters her, Kiramei Yellow fires a shot, and Kiramei Red uses the Phoenix arrow to defeat the emperor once and for all. It's kind of tacky and I wish the Kiramagers did use a team finisher though. I mean, I wish they ripped off the one-time light dash move in Carranger in here. Oh well.

We get an epilogue of three months later which starts a bit of weirdness...

Carantula is among the few Super Sentai villains who reformed and tell the tale. Most Super Sentai villains who reform usually don't. So Carantula opens an art school. I wonder if he's now ruling Yodonheim now that their emperor has been put to an end?

Crystalia has been restored yet there are still survivors. The four Granterstones are put together reviving Crystalia. TBH, I really felt that the Granterstones had been given more significance and purpose than the Corona Aurora (which four jewels were needed) was in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.

Just then, Juuru's imagination reveals what could be the most unorthodox Super Sentai team yet, the Zenkaigers. I don't know if I still have Super Sentai vibes left since I'm now checking other stuff right now. I might want to keep an open mind and see how Zenkaiger will turn out. I feel excited to see how Zenkaiger may turn out. Who knows maybe it's time to shelve Super Sentai and start a new genre. Then again, that didn't happen after Kyuranger and Lupinranger vs. Patranger ended.
