King-Ohger 29: Doubting One's Leadership Abilities
After last week's messy switcheroo x3 - we get another chaotic episode. I guess the chaotic nature of the episodes shows how the Galactainsect isn't fooling around! Many times, most supervillains tend to just come up with the typical stupid plans to achieve what they want to achieve. Hirubill causes some psychological attacks after the cliffhanger last week.
The assault was caused by the right-hand people last week. It's your typical Brainwashed and Crazy scheme. Hirubill is practically like Discord of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. The monarchs all get injured after a short suitless scene. I really wonder if there's a PSA to this scene. IMHO, there could be one given the injuries that the monarchs had.
Hirubill's plan is apparently to cause an all-out war among the Five Terran Kingdoms. It's a very effective plan for invasion if you think about it. I wonder when will the Galactainsects send some monster-of-the-week? It's funny how I'm not really complaining about Kamen Rider not having as many monsters as the Showa era. However, I do feel quite down (for now) at how Super Sentai was lacking in monsters for King-Ohger. I guess Toei is trying something new. I feel it's a throwback to Gosei Sentai Dairanger which had less monsters of the week in contrast to its predecessor Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger.
The stakes are high among the kingdoms. I just can't blame the monarchs for getting panicky. It's already bad enough that Betty ahem Elegance Moune is getting overoccupied. Himeno wakes up and discovers that her maidservant Cleo Urbanu has gone violent. Kaguragi is shocked at how the food supply may have been lowered. There's also a blackout which outrages Yanma in almost the same way as Shouji in Gosei Sentai Dairanger. Rita then comes to the conclusion that there's some mind control incident.
The ultimate plan is carried out to snap people out of Hirubill's evil plan. I guess Hirubill, like a leech that she is, leeches on people with her wicked propaganda. I'm not surprised at Sebastian's reaction. The plan to do so doesn't seem very logical if you ask me. Again, isn't t superhero shows also make the heroes do certain absurd plans to stop the villains?
Jeramie agrees to quite a plan. It was to incite a shock of rage to the people. This is a scripted play. The play caused Hirubill's power to be canceled out. This would create a momentary peace. Though I wonder how Jeramie intends to explain it away then. It wouldn't be so easy.
Later, Jeramie explains to Kamejim that the monarchs do need some good sleep. Heck, I even feel there's a PSA here for everyone to get enough sleep. Jeramie walks into the sunset as the heroes really do need some sleep. For a refresher, there's no cliffhanger for now.
The next episode features a villain whose features are not shown yet. He's only revealed as Grodie the Traquil of the Five Galactinsect Jesters. Yes, he might be that mysterious man who murdered Himeno's parents. The preview seems to suggest some out-of-suit fights from the cast might be focused. There's also more focus on Rita and Himeno. I can't really wait to see what'll happen next based on this preview.
