It's no secret that I still view the first Super Hero Taisen with utter dislike or view it like as if Spongebob and Patrick had a fight and fan war. At first, I was excited for that film but then it ended up with one person after the other hating it. It's time for another bit of Kyuranger episodes. I guess it's always more fun to watch the episodes than for me to give my opinion on the scans and updates provided by the news sites. Now where do I begin? After having some Space Balls in both Space 36 and Space 37 - we're having Star Wars again. We get a bit of a space battle to break the barrier to the Crux System. Don Armage sure knows how to make everyone's lives hard. I guess he's no Mel Brooks or President Skroob though I have a bad feeling that the barrier is meant to trap air into the atmosphere of the Crux System. They break the shield and we get the start of a big battle. This scene reminds of the Empire Strikes Back with Darth Vader kneeling before a hologram of Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine. December is really the time to look at next year's Super Sentai isn't it? I've been pretty critical about the franchise with the post-Go-Busters seasons until I started watching Kyuranger. Watching them and catching up was a chore at first but I was able to do it anyway. I feel like Kyuranger is a huge leap for Super Sentai. Now it's time to look at what would be a year long crossover called Patoranger vs. Lupinranger. I got these details and images from JEFusion . Here's the first impression which shows us the two different teams. What do I think? Well, the for first time is a completely new different trio color with red, green and pink with the Patorangers. The Lupinrangers have the traditional red, blue and yellow trio. Both teams will have their own individual combining robots. I'm getting a bit of retro feel for both. This week's Kyuranger is a fun baseball game. Last week wasn't so impressive compared to this week. At the same time, there's a lesson to be learned especially with how Tokusatsu can get weaker episodes before you can come up with something legendary. It's a lesson on perseverance. Okay, maybe I'm expecting too much again. So why's Cassiopeia a baseball game stadium? Maybe I'm thinking too much of Clash of the Titans here am I not? The latest Menaster is called Gloven and he's holding the Cassiopeia system hostage in a game of baseball. I think this is one funny episode.    The baseball game scenario is full of funny stuff. Everyone's doing their best but Spada is weak at it. I even laugh at the scenario when Gloven uses his Devil Ball causing everyone to be defeated in this out of suit fight scene. I admit, I made a list of Tokusatsu seasons celebrating their major anniversaries  aside from those that turned 30 this year  and guess what - I entirely forgot about HIKONIN SENTAI AKIBARANGER! Yes, it slipped off my head especially with how real life can affect anyone. This takes me back way back to 2012 when Akibaranger premiered and I was freaking hesitant to watch the show. Gokaiger ended and I ended up thinking about Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters that year. I was afraid to admit I actually liked the show even if it wasn't all as good as most of its predecessors or IMO this year's Kyuranger is better than it. I admit, I was too afraid to watch it except for my really stupid crush on Hiroyo Hakase. Fiveman makes me feel like a kid. I remembered the cool opening and ending song. I watched it on ABC-5 before it became TV-5 when I was a child. I had no idea who or what were behind Super Sentai until way later in life. Then I started seeing fan subs and learned more about Super Sentai. I even learned from Tokusatsu News Network that Fiveman nearly cancelled Super Sentai and Jetman became a smashing success. Hirohisa Soda was overworked since Turboranger and Fiveman was where he had no idea on what to do anymore with the 90s. How have my feelings shifted? It's after seeing a lot of shows before Fiveman and after Fiveman. One of these shows where my feelings for Fiveman changed is towards Chikyu Sentai GoGoFive . I watched GoGoFive and thought it was an improved version of Fiveman in terms of writing.
