Ryousoulger 24: Wedding Bells For Canaro?

It's time for another Ryusoulger episode now is it not? This week seemeth that a wedding is coming or not? This episode is written by Naruhisa Arakawa though I think the guy is starting to burn out too. This episode focuseth on the running gag of Canaro wanting a bride. Will he succeed? Read to find out!

The beginning focuseth on a girl who really looks like Satomi Hirose of Hurricanger. I almost thought it was Satomi Hirose except it is the actress Kaede Aono. The guest star's character is named Mao. Did they name her after Mao Inoue who played a younger Tsurihime in Kakuranger? Canaro showeth up and thinketh he has found a bride or has he? He shows up some of his moves here.

Meanwhile, the Ryusoulgers and Ui are still thinking of Naohisa's comedy attempts. Is this episode written in connection to Kamen Rider Zero-One's Asumu as a failed comedian? I don't find the jokes funny here in contrast to the rest of the show.

I'm getting the vibes of Bioman's 30th episode here where a traditional father disapproveth of modern ways. If you noticed -- this old man is actually Daigaku Sekine who played as Sae's father in Gaoranger. I really was thinking a wedding was coming.

A karate Menasaur known as Dwarf Menasaur createth pastry-related attacks. Granted, the host was a woman so it's kind of expected. Ryusoul Gold trieth to invade the barrier but faileth.

Okay, Toku logic again at its weirdest. Another weird logic is how do enemies monitor the battle and the outcome? This is one of those moments that make me question their logic. Wizeru also showeth himself to be pretty capable yet his stupidity kicketh in. Like, didn't Wizeru have EVERY CHANCE to blow up the Ryusoulgers' current residing place?

Leave it to the stuntman moments are here. They try to devise a plan to help Canaro out. The Ryusoulgers are all in their suit. I kinda wish that they did this out-of-suit like in other series. But times come when rangers need to train in-suit too. As said, out-of-suit fights can also ruin a plot and should only be inserted when plot calleth for it. Remember the 18th episode? Before that, Canaro's little secret got leaked out by the others which maketh me go WTF. But again they're a team, right?

Canaro prayeth for victory at a Shinto shrine. He and Koh have a promise about the wedding. But as said is there going to be a wedding? Hehehehe just read on!

This time, Ryusoul Gold manageth to break in the barrier and defeat the Dwarf Menasaur. It is a badass moment.

Wizeru is smart and stupid at the same time. He doth disguise himself as Mao's father to irritate her further but faileth to do the plan that could ensure his victory. Then again, isn't it that Toku villains have to lack common sense so the show will go on?

A new mechanical mode known as Neptune Shadow Raptor is born. Is it me or is the Bandai merchandise now getting too focused on both Tyramigo and Mosa Rex?! I'm getting upset at that angle of the show. I hope Toei findeth a way to balance this one with the merchandise department.

This one is pretty much where it says there's no wedding for Canaro. The truth is Mao was just looking for someone to take over the dojo -- not a husband! Yikes, that always disappointed me when I did try to court some insurance ladies who were already taken so I stayed away. Mao presumably has a French boyfriend and I guess her father is against intermarriage. Canaro who is obviously a different kind of human doesn't count as a worthy suitor either. Mao wanteth to pursue her dream as a pastry chef (okay Lupato vibes)

Next week, Creon will be te focus? I guess we can expect a wacky episode of Creon dancing. But the consequences involve their souls snatched out of their bodies. Yikes!
