Super Hero Time's Hiatus VS. Beast Morphers Season 2's Hiatus

Well, Super Hero Time is still under hiatus, right? I remembered ranting on how Super Hero Time had its hiatus since the Legacy Virus hit. Then I realized that Power Rangers Beast Morphers just entered its hiatus after a VITAL PLOT POINT. How many times did it happen? Season 1 had a summer hiatus, the first season ended with a thriller and went on hiatus, Season 2 came and then went on ANOTHER SUMMER HIATUS AGAIN. Yup, you got that right, Beast Morphers is definitely on another hiatus AGAIN when there are already filmed episodes. Nickelodeon's poor decision making is costing it dearly. I don't blame Butch Hartman for actually leaving the network. It already showed signs of decline after the Spongebob Squarepants movie and 2011 was just the start. It just worsened.

Super Hero Time's hiatus during the Legacy Virus pandemic is a really valid excuse. Who can remember the time that Rio Komiya got infected by the said virus? The suspension of filming and closing down Toei Studios for a period of time were necessary steps. The Japanese government launched its order to help combat the Legacy Virus. Right now, Tokusatsu News Network has revealed that Kamen Rider Zero-One has resumed filming. Has Mashin Sentai Kiramager resumed filming too? I think so but I can't be certain. When Super Hero Time will resume because of the backlog caused by the Legacy Virus isn't certain. Let's just wait for Toei's official word first. Toei Ltd.'s operations right now are currently held by

Meanwhile, Power Rangers is supposed to be a yearly thing so why did Nickelodeon decide to unnecessarily stretch one season into two years? Why put an unnecessary summer hiatus? Summer is the time to actually take the opportunity to sell more toys. There's really no reason for Power Rangers to put that unnecessary summer break, not especially, when a huge plot point could've been easily resolved next week whenever possible. Until now, Nickelodeon hasn't changed the practice resulting in what I'd call the "Go Go Power Rangers backlog". Yup, Power Rangers has been skipping Power Rangers seasons, gone way backward when Hasbro decided to use Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters as the material and now Kishinryuu Sentai Ryuosulger is going to be used as the material for the next season. Is there really any point for me to still stand by a franchise that's been getting worse? The practice isn't doing any good to the franchise if you ask me.

Super Hero Time might return in late June or early July depending on how Japan could handle the Legacy Virus outbreak. On the other hand, viewers of Beast Morphers will have to painfully wait until sometime in September 2020. We know which show's got a good reason for a hiatus and which one doesn't, right?
