Gobusters has just started and here's what I think: First the Gobusters.  Woo they have shades.  Also their role call is "It's Morphin' Time" which I find is kind of nostalgic to those who watched Power Rangers. The mecha are called Megazords?  Well I do have to admit I see a little bit of Zoids here which I am NOT a fan of.  But still... nice designs. Apparently this "Messiah" (seriously he's not even one) is born from a virus.  Somehow I am reminded of the Venjix Virus in RPM but this one is unique in its own way.  It's too early to know what this being is capable of.  I get reminded of Devil Z from Transformers Masterforce.  What he's capable of doing still remains to be seen. What do I think?  With Yasuko Kobayashi's talent, I guess she's definitely going to do it well.  Why do I feel this show will be awesome?

Here are my thoughts on the Gokaiger finale.  Sorry for being late because of the lack of images.  So here goes... The Gokaigers face their biggest challenge ever which is against Ackdos Gill. Okay, some people do consider him to be less thinking (and I am on that list) while Fantasy Leader counts him to be pretty competent.  Views anyone? The finale in itself is what I'd call a huge exchange of blows, well-done CGIs which make it memorable. I do dare to say that the Zangyacks are more on brute-force reliant but that's what makes the choreography and sequences oh so great.  He's pretty insane IMO, taking the whole armada and all. Some of my favorite Sentai villains are insane but he's not as cool as Basco. But still, cool finale! In order to take him down, there is the "Battlizer Extravaganza". Talk about crazy. Well Gokaiger's coming to an end and I kinda want to see the action conclusion.  So here's what's been going on. Goushi of Zyuranger managed to return from Heaven.  He actually tells the Gokaigers to use the Ultimate Treasure to beat Zangyack but... One has to admire what happened.  The Gokaigers see what real treasure is- their friendship with the various Super Sentai heroes.  So moral here is that your friends are more important than all the treasure in the world.  The decision was to actually destroy the Ultimate Treasure.  Woohoo!  What a selfless decision! Just some belated Zyuranger action, one can't help but remember Geki getting his late brother Burai's armor and Zyusouken. On the other hand, one has to brace through the destruction of Akudosu Gill.

Well this is just an idea that Chris X gave me from this blog entry based on a Zyuranger pairing talk .  Now it's time to explore what could get SUPER CRACK!  For all Power Rangers fans who are new to the original work of Super Sentai and enjoying it, beware NEVER to do these pairings! Here they are and laugh all you want and I wish you can all comment why these pairings will NEVER work: The first to think of is Burai x Mei which is totally crack.  While Tommy and Kimberly definitely can work it out in MMPR but these two are NOT Tommy and Kimberly in any way.  Tommy is definitely not a substitute for Burai and Mei is definitely different from Kimberly so this really is a NO-NO in Zyuranger.  Chris X's statement is TOTALLY right- this is one that if you want to get crack , try pairing them but it will NEVER WORK as there is zero basis, no chemistry.  Mei can work out with Geki but definitely not Burai plus his time was short anyway to get lovey dovey ...

Finally the biggest SOB of Gokaiger has now bit the dust.  One has to admit that he's the worst nuisance villain ever. Last we remembered Basco took over the Gokai Galleon and he was almost unstoppable. However the Gokaigers managed to get even AT LAST. It's an intense battle between former comrades.  After a dramatic battle... Basco finally meets his end.  Oh boy, finally he's down!  Well he got what he deserved.  He seems to be at the same level with Radiguet, Long and Abrella.  There goes my favorite Gokaiger villain! Also there was a cameo from these guys... Well too bad Red Mask didn't make a cameo.  Oh Sho Hayate gained weight that I could barely recognize him but it was nice for them to make a cameo.  But I was disappointed they dint' have an extended role.  :-( What the?  Triforce of Wisdom?  Zelda?  Just kidding.  Looks like the finale is just around the corner.  Can't wait to see ho...

Happy Chinese New Year!  While the heroes brought their treats, so did the villains.  Here are the dragon based villains who's coming to crash your party: Prince Salamandes- The fourth son of Grandienne, demon of fire calamnity.  He started out pretty cute as Drop but he became a monster thanks to Zylpheeza's demise and him inheriting the star gem. Ryuon- He's a man with dragon genes in him from Lemuria.  One of his monsters Talong was based on a Chinese dragon and a master of Feng Shui.  His faction in Boukenger was also dragon-based. Long- He's actually a five headed dragon with all five heads working in unison.  The dragon is the fifth in the Chinese zodiac too.

Henshin Grid provided some very exciting screen shots that could point out to a thrilling drama.  Here are some things that would be a good twist: Captain Marvelous is injured.  Oh my.  How are they going to recover?  I pretty expect a thriller to that.  This fight is pretty personal considering the two had a past. Basco laughs disturbingly as he gets control of the Gokai Galleon.  I wonder if any Sentai seniors will show up to help in the battle.  I guess this will monsterize him and I hope the writers monsterize him so much we'd say yeah after he dies.  So one episode isn't enough to cover the awesome evilness of Basco. Two parter is more like it and I hope he dies an epic death. So Sally has defected from Basco or is it?  Apparently nobody wants to be the pet of a SOB like Basco. Basco's just been monsterized all the more and I'm loving it.
