So this is a pretty funny entry but I think these guys deserve some credit as Bulk and Skull type rangers: Youhei Hama/Blue Turbo- I felt like this guy was a Skull prototype although he was no bully. But like Skull, he was a comic relief character. Raita Ooshi/Yellow Owl- Like Bulk, they're both overweight and funny. Hmmm Bulk as Yellow Owl would be very funny. Dan and Boi- In Zyuranger, the two made a comedic duo which placed the Zyurangers in several disasters which was in a way like Bulk and Skull. Genta Umemori- He's a funny character but not that funny though although I consider him to be way more hyper than Gem and Gemma combined. Think anybody should be here. Let me know!

Here are my favorite Sentai singers. Enjoy. Takayuki Miyauchi- The legendary singer of Sentai IMO. Up to present, he still sings for Super Sentai but only insert themes. Hironobu Kageyama- He sang several of the Sentai opening and closing themes as well as the insert themes. I liked him for his rendition of "Love Soldier" of Jetman "Kokoro Wa Tamago" of Jetman, which both series focused on star-crossed love. Too bad though, he didn't sing the Shinkenger opening theme. Megumi Mori- Before becoming Megum Misaki for Liveman, she was already a talented singer. I definitely like her voice 10x better than Nao Nagasawa. She's a natural. Rin Tanakashi- I just loved her singing in the Shinkenger OVA. Kenta Satou- He sang the Turboranger opening and ending, as well as "Graduation of Youth" and later the Zyuranger theme song. Daisuke Shima- His voice made his songs pretty powerful especially the Liveman opening theme. Toshihide Wakamatsu-...

Well it's really true that I have somewhat skipped to ask the reason why it's been called the VS. Series, when int he first place, the rangers team up. Okay, so let's try to take a look at what versus means in the dictionary meaning as opposed to or in contrast with. Apparently the meaning of the word "versus" here is "in contrast with" which of course, one team other the other have some contrasts with the other. Like for example here's the contrasts during crossovers: Themes are the most obvious contrasts. For example the obviously non-canon Ohranger vs. Kakuranger had a team-up of one team using alien technology (the Ohrangers) which is in contrast to the Kakurangers who used the supernatural. Many times, one motif meets a different motif which makes it fun to watch. Sometimes, even the themes affect the personalities. Sometimes a darker season can be matched up with a lighter season for a team-up. This has happened in Gekiranger vs. Boukeng...

I found this picture of the Goukaiger toy from Toku Insider. Looking at it, it's pretty bulky.

In Bioman's rather cheesy English dub, Peebo was referred to as "he" at first, then later Peebo was referred to as "she". It was pretty much lost in translation to what Peebo's gender is. I don't rely much on Wikipedia seeing that anybody can edit the article and vandalize it. Technically speaking, Peebo would have no gender but then, even robots in science fiction are classified as "male" or "female" just as their supposed parent/parents would program them to do so.  Here's the argument they used to justify Peebo as a female - the robot was voiced by a female and had a female suit actor. Certain female rangers in Super Sentai especially the pink ranger had a male stunt double for certain more dangerous scenes to perform. In fact, episode 10 of Bioman had only the male stuntman perform the death of Mika Koizumi just in case you didn't notice.  If you've played Megaman Legends -  the voice actor for Megaman was a female...

Time flies fast. It was 1975 back then, now it's 2011. It's the 35th entry. Looking at this, this may be the second adventure based Sentai, just a few series after Boukenger which was the 30th anniversary. Will Saban skip Goseiger for this series? Maybe he should. But let's just see. However with the theme that they'll be traveling different Sentai worlds, well maybe Saban will skip this.

I overlooked this. Hee hee. Too bad I don't have pictures so I'll just post the teams. They are: The Gorangers executed the Cassiopeia Star Attack against Black Cross Fuehrer in the finale. The Biomen used the Bio Revolver only in episode 2 and the Bio Burn Bar only in episode 3. In the movie, they used the Bio Spectral Flash which was not seen in the series. The Maskmen performed the Aura Power Burst in the final episode against Emperor Zeba. The Jetmen performed the Firebird attack when all five flew and formed a phoenix to attack Radiguet prior to the final battle. The Carrangers used a killer dash technique to destroy a shrunken Emperor Exhaus after Gynamo threw expired imo youkan into their enemy's mouth. The Gaorangers were aided by the revived power animals to destroy Senki. In the movie Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai, the Gaoranger Storm.
