If there was any rivalry in Fiveman that really was bordered with silly, it was that of Garoa and Chevalier. So pretty much, Chevalier may be badass fighting but most of the time, he was bordered around the silly and now let's examine their rivalry.  Chevalier first arrived with a singing chorus of the Ginga Sentai Gingaman where he showed but a goofy number and a goofy episode.  So this begins the rivalry of Garoa and Chevalier since the former could soon lose his position to the latter. Garoa despite being mostly half-brained with his schemes developed the Franken Capsule which fused two types of monsters together into one, which at first had a good effect but it just became too silly after that.  In fact, Garoa's demotion happened after his rather stupid Gorilla/Eagle Jin monster (which was a back to back fusion creating disagreement problems), Chevalier got promoted.  But Chevalier's first action as captain was just stupid- canned humans?  Body switching?...

Genta Umemori would be what I'd call a secondary comic relief after Ryunosuke's hammy reactions or Chiaki's slacking.  So he was just appearing as a mysterious sushi seller with unusual antics who turned out to have some unusual gifts in handling mojikara, a funny attitude and of course he was Takeru Shiba's best friend as a child.  So he always interrupted Takeru's training to where he obviously got the Ika Origami, and he managed to train himself hard and he became from a samurai wannabee to a modern day samurai despite the fact he came from a line of sushi sellers.  His return to the present was of course hilarious.  My only issue was that seldom, the actor Keisuke Sohma felt like Felix Ryan (Spike's actor in PR Samurai) in his acting but I wouldn't say its horrid, at least he's a comic relief with plot contribution. While trying to join the Shinkengers in the most comical of methods, he was initially denied by his childhood friend to keep him safe....

Well here are some Super Sentai villain plots I can remember to turn people into well... monsters!  This was pretty much despicable for me!  But then again, that's what makes Super Sentai villains entertaining! Turning humans into Anglers.  In Maskman episode 13, I would give credit to the fact that this plan was quite good in turning humans into monsters.  After all, it would be a very hard thing for humans to fire against their loved ones.  I thought that Fumin's disguise as Marina was effective, though she could have also sold some autographed items to spread it faster. Turning human into "protists"... not really.  This was in Maskman episode 24 which for me was a very dramatic episode.  Man I felt sorry for that kid turned into a monster but fortunately, he got to keep his humanity and some rare stone he had, restored him to normal.  I'd say this had some nightmare fuel.  Igam's plan to do it to the dam was good except it was foiled...

Compared to the rather comedic rivalry of Ryuon and Gaja , this one is no laughing matter.  As we know it, Radiguet just NEVER will allow anybody to rule over him and he hates having somebody rule over him.  He's one cruel sadist with a self-righteous outlook in life (he believes he has the right to eradicate everyone for being bastards when in fact, he is a real bastard) and in fact, everything about this guy is clear to the point that Radiguet will never tolerate competition. Obviously while Tranza was still Tran, Radiguet had frequently bullied him or mistreated him.  Tran wanted revenge and in a matter of hours or so, in Jetman episode 36 at the end of it he accelerated his growth to become Emperor Tranza.  I have to admit that Tranza was one incredibly bad braggart with real subtle skills.  So yeah, he was getting his revenge on Radiguet for bullying him without even being aware that Radiguet may sooner or later beat him out of insanity.  His first...

Here are some things I'd like to be in Super Sentai in the future, some of them are also original ideas from Power Rangers.  Here they are: A mutant/human war conflict.  One of the reasons why I like PR Time Force has to be this- the mutant/human war concept.  We do know a lot of Tokusatsu villains are either survival of the fittest types or most of them tend to be the racist type, I guess what if villains were also victims of racism?  Ransik's interesting backstory in Time Force could be used in a future Sentai installment.  Now only what motif for Sentai will this work on?  Ransik's hatred for humans was a pretty good plot actually. Something similar to Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.  Well I had my thoughts on the Lost Galaxy concept was interesting even if the rumor in Japan was at best, a fake.  But still, what if Sentai can take it to that direction? That would be interesting if you ask me.  Now where do we start? Now I wonder what's...

This is just pretty iffy but this could be true.  I don't know if this is true but this could be it.  I could be wrong so comment... My first guess has to be Kou.  Poor Kou, being underestimated just because he's a kid.  Me, he's my second favorite Dairanger, in fact I'd dare say he's better than Tommy in terms of execution from the time he was a perverted brat to his character development.  To be honest, it was fun watching him develop from start to end though I wish he knew the truth about his father. My second guess would go to Riki/Kingranger.  I would admit he does look pretty young but don't underestimate him. Alata, poor Alata is my third guess.  Maybe right now, I would guess that he's underrated because he's just too "pale and thin" compared to the more muscular Troy.  Again, really what in the world? Just my thoughts on some possibly underrated rangers.

Well here's one thing I might need to say this but some people were probably shocked to learn that Igam was a woman raised as a man.  I might talk about the erroneous Filipino dub of Hikari Sentai Maskman that had actually omitted the whole plot.  That is the Filipino dub always called Igam as Princess Igam, not Prince Igam.  It did shock me as well to learn that Igam was raised to be a man, something I never knew as a child watching Maskman dubbed and I thought she was just a woman who dressed up in such an armor for some weird reason.  I guess some Filipinos were WTFed at the actual Maskman storyline due to the fact they knew Igam to be a woman beforehand due to the dubs.  After seeing some facts in life, I thought this might help clarify some things to why the audience knew she was a woman but not the Maskmen nor most of Tube.  Some people knew she was a woman though it was a heavily guarded secret that was until her helmet flew off after Akira was free...
