Bonjour everyone! Well I hope I can keep this habit of keeping le whole "French man act" minimal as to avoid making le weekly reviews not so readable. So I'll be using "le" in le place of "the" while keeping it more readable by using mostly English articles to avoid too much confusion like my previous posts. Anyway, let's get down to this rather Patranger focused episode.  There's some kind of investigation going on done by le Patrangers. They are wondering if there's a monster or something. It's time for another Timeranger rant -- this time it would be hitting towards the finale. I thought how the finale arc itself may be considered "one convoluted mess" even for a series that I really consider as one of my favorites. Kobayashi's finales tend to be messy or how she suddenly "shocks" audiences such as Takeru Shiba getting adopted by Kaoru -- which is IMHO is bad shock value compared to the former serving the real Shiba as a decoy. Another is I could remember Den-O's finale returns to Ryotaro with being a loser -- it's almost like everything was just a dream. Okay, just take a note that it's most likely Kamen Rider Ryuki's finale was a result of executive meddling and neither Kobayashi nor Toshiki Inoue wanted it -- looks like they both agreed to write an ending where everyone supposedly died! The singer Shinichi Ishihara first did his Super Sentai contribution with the Turbo Rugger theme song. He was then made the lead singer for Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive's opening theme. I wonder if I should actually try to "beat Shogo B'Stard to it" by reviewing one of my favorite Super Sentai crossover films. I still think that Toei Ltd. may need to give it a break for now or two, why aren't they released on the Super Sentai DVDs? Back on topic -- I decided to give a shot about the crossover of the two Sci-Fi Revival era series  namely Mirai Sentai Timeranger and Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive. It even had me wishing too bad we never had a Chikyu Sentai Fiveman and Chojin Sentai Jetman movie for obvious reasons -- though everyone knows I still think GoGoFive is miles better than Fiveman. I thought about how this film did a good job making it look like both series came in the same universe. Granted, logic can tell you that most Super Sentai don't really take place in the same Universe  but this one well, it almost seems like it. Shogo B'Stard had recently posted on Time for Undercover Rangers  and I felt like talking about one episode that I may like or not like. Yasuko Kobayashi has her strange sense of humor which either fits or doesn't fit. I just thought about this episode to be full of nightmare fuel, it almost reminded me of the fifth episode of Kamen Rider Black (where the Goat Mutant was controlling people through a weird one-shot cult) while this one had some undercover. Some people think (and maybe I myself included) that the whole Tatsuya x Yuuri pairing is somewhat forced -- but I tend to enjoy the good comedy derived from a naive Tatsuya vs. the overly bearing Yuuri. Some of their focus episodes together (such as the two parter Broken Trust arc ) reveal that they do have some romantic tensions going on. Bonjour my readers! Once again it's time for le Lupinranger vs. Patranger reviews. I just figured it out that I'll keep le use of faux French minimal and maybe I'll do le same for le images. Well this is le 13th episode and it's not a very lucky episode, is it? I'm just assuming that this day is actually Friday the 13th even if the airing date isn't.   It all starts with both girls are on day out. Yes, both of them meet each other at le amusement park. They take a pair ticket tour together to get some stuffed toys. Hmmm... I'd actually cheer them both on for doing that. They get into some crazy rides and it's time for le amusement park haunted house. Speaking of haunted house weakness -- I couldn't forget how some old school characters like Gaku Hoshikawa/Five Red, Hiruto Suto/Go-on Gold and Takeru Shiba/Shinken Red were all somewhat scared of the supernatural. Not all villains are pure evil (or at least, near it) like Count Radiguet or Lt. Col. Shadam (both may be considered as darker versions of For the Evulz) as some of them still show some good traits. Don Dolnero was sentenced to 1,000 years in prison and he even did a daring jailbreak (which was later revealed to be thanks to Captain Ryuya's neglect) prior to the start of the series. This one also has a relationship between him and the android Gien. Dolnero shows that he treats the Londarz prisoners like his family. He even went as far as to let the bogus traffic enforcer Arnold (an old friend of his) lose because he was causing strife in the Londarz Family. One plot that's later unveiled is that of him and Gien. Gien wasn't always an android. He was once an illiterate human who helped Dolnero after he was severely wounded. Dolnero repaid the kindness even if he was one of the biggest criminals ever in his era. He even went as far as to have Gien assisted though it paine...
