This week's episode has a rather weird "curse of dog" plot. Though, it also premieres Don Dragoku's mecha form. The character does somehow the sixth ranger does throw back to Sun Wukong .    Anybody who's familiar with Sun Wukong should know his duplication ability. Here, Jiro reveals his other half which also has a ranger form. The two of them form an offensive team. Jiro's other half says to stop putting Momotaro on top of the pedestal.  Both Don Dragoku and his familiar half before mechas too. Dragoku obviously becomes a draogn while the other seems to become what's a wolf. The two of them also combine into Toradragon Jin. It does amaze everyone to see what it can do.  So far, this is another cool mecha introduction. I wonder though how any future combinations will be with this mecha around. 

Credit Goes To Owner I was thinking about how it's been two years since COVID-19 aka the Legacy Virus hit the world. It became a global problem and I'd like to say that the World Health Organization (WHO) should've taken action. It was then when Super Hero Time got a hiatus due to the time when the Legacy Virus spread like crazy . One of the cast members, Rio Komiya, got hospitalized when he got infected by the Legacy Virus. Toei Ltd. even had to close their studios for safety reasons. We know how much danger it posed so there were no new episodes of either Mashin Sentai Kiramager or Kamen Rwhy ider Zero-One at that point. That's why both shows ended up getting rush-paced later on. That's why there were no summer episodes. That's why it was hard to do a beach episode if the beaches were SHUT DOWN for the moment. That's why we never saw Sayo, Sena, and Yodonna in a bikini beach battle - something I wish happened in Kiramager vs. Ryusoulger movie to further ad...

  It's no mistake that I'm no fan of Power Rangers . Okay, I tried to like it back then when it was what took over the timeslot instead of Super Sentai . However, I always remained puzzled as to why Kamen Rider still aired in the Philippines but not Super Sentai . Right now, I feel like writing this new ramble. I feel that Go-Tokumei Sentai Busters is truly a Super Sentai entry that had a huge impact on the Power Rangers community.  The digital age then allowed Power Rangers fans to slowly get fansubs of Super Sentai which I heard started with Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger then more shows after it followed. It was quite difficult to find subs for older seasons. However, I also theorize that many Power Rangers fans prefer any Super Sentai after Mirai Sentai Timeranger for being considerably lighter and softer . I guess stuff like Burai's death in Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger is somewhat too heavy to bear. Meanwhile, stuff like how Dekaranger had Doggie survive his supposed death is m...

It's too obvious I'm watching Donbrothers as a guilty pleasure. I'm watching it to BASH IT when I could. I felt like how I was watching Beast Morphers to bash it as well. It's no secret that Haruka Kito reminds me of both Yoko Usami and Zoey Reeves . I feel that Toshiki Inoue is giving her a little more personality than either Yasuko Kobayashi or Judd Lynn could've done with Yoko and Zoey. An interesting part of Haruka is how she was falsely accused of plagiarism from episode one. The allegations were dropped but it's become a plotline. I wonder if Inoue is having new ideas, did a good rest do any good (and I enjoyed his involvement in Kamen Rider Zi-O's episodes dedicated to Kamen Rider Kiva ), though I remembered how I could say Kiva was where he burnt out, I was worried he might screw up again due to fatigue, etc.  The recent revelation is that a certain someone going by the name of Naoki Shiina. Granted, 2022 would be Denji Sentai Megaranger's silver anniversary. Megaranger may be more mega than that idiotic Power Rangers Megaforce   while I believe that not all people will be able to relate to it. I still believe that there's that HUGE GENERATION GAP between older and newer Super Sentai entries . I decided to do some random rant for #ThrowbackThursdays recalling the 1980s to 1990s - the era I was born in and the era of my childhood. Oh yes, those moments when I remembered going to the arcade  (which I don't miss ever since the dawn of the Playstation consoles), how I actually fought with my parents every time I had to miss an episode of my favorite shows (such as Conan the Adventurer which I feel is an Old Shame now), how having a personal computer (and I was stuck with an obsolete model for too long, my parents NEVER understood the benefit of a higher model probably due to their generation) was a "luxury", and how that ANNOYING dial-up Internet meant I ...

I just can't resist writing a wacky post times where it was comparing a certain group to a certain cop or how Donbrothers (of all Super Sentai series) got me reminded of Beast Morphers . Since Beast Morphers is based on Go-Busters (which is a favorite of mine for trying to return back to serious roots but not too high either) - I'd like to do this wacky post to say how Haruka Kito reminds me of not just Zoey Reeves (both are menial workers) but also of YOKO USAMI . It sounds crazy but it's true! I decided to give Beast Morphers to see how Hasbro will handle the Power Rangers franchise. I ended up criticizing Beast Morphers for trying to tie back everything back to 1993 instead of trying to become more self-contained. I also felt that Evox as Venjix is too predictable. I felt it'd be as bad as what if Go-Busters had a plot where Messiah Virus was Yogoscrimaten all along. CBR.com has an article on the eight harsh realities of being a Power Ranger . These are pretty much carried over because there are also harsh realities with being a Sentai Ranger too. Yes, I prefer to use the term RANGER over WARRIOR even if I dislike Power Rangers . So, I decided to make my own version which can be easily observed. Some Super Sentai teams didn't get trained before fighting the bad guys I wonder what in the world is the logic with choosing novices who haven't learned to fight just yet? It may be, "Don't question logic and just enjoy the show." However, there's got to be a HEALTHY MIX of suspension of disbelief and logical parts. Sure, maybe it's best we ignore how Japan keeps getting rebuilt EVERY WEEK but we need to think about the vulnerability of people.
